Pleasant freshness survived to the 2000's/2010's musical revolution, but still tuned on what is the modern electropop. "Deja Vu" is exactly what makes you dance, both whether you are young or elderly. The inevitable collaboration with pop artists of high level makes it even more captivating.

Some elements, such as the guitar-loop or the bubbling basses might therefore become slightly pushy with their spread well disguised in all the album, which was still a bit monochrome in some points. Luckily, only-instrumental tracks help to avoid this problem. They are intelligently put at the beginning (4 U With Love), in the middle (74 Is The New 24) and at the end (La Disco). On the other hand, when you are 74 and you're working and producing for Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Dev and Charli XCX you can definitely call your life complete.

    Best tracks:

    Deja Vu ft. Sia
I do this for you ft. Marlene
Right Here, Right Now ft. Kylie Minogue

Underrated. This comeback should be appreciated for its sincerity and its genuine ability to make us wanna dance. Anyway I didn't get the cover featuring Britney Spears. It's the weak point of the overall album.

The whole album sounds generic, but you just have to remind yourself that this man did it first and what you've last heard from him till now and everything in between, is that everyone tries to be Moroder.

I raced to download this album, because it's Giorgio. Then I forgot about it before listening to it, coz I'm busy. Then I read some reviews and was surprised by the general lack of enthusiasm for this album. So I thought I'd better listen to it, and lo and behold, I quite like a bunch of this album. I've been a Giorgio Moroder fan for ages. He and Donna Summer defined an era. "I Feel Love" is a masterpiece.
In Déjà-Vu the stellar foundations from the early days are all there, but there are up-to-date plot twists, and a batch of very talented guest vocalists. Great to dance to, or just to elevate your mood. Ciao Giorgio! Nice to have you back.

I love this album. Giorgio never disappoints.

I don't understand the poor reviews.

    Definitely check this out.

Although a handful of dated, unimaginative instrumentals drag down Déjà Vu's momentum, Moroder has always been more of a singles artist.

It's not completely unfair to say that Déjà Vu won't be joining the pantheon of great albums any time soon.

It hardly bears Moroder's personality at all.
