If you're after a blues cover album, that evokes memories of the Black Keys early work, this is absolutely what you'll get, here.
If you're after the next album from the Black Keys and want something that takes what they were building towards with Let's Rock and Turn Blue and injects it into a new album, then you need to look elsewhere.
Delta Kream has more in common with the raw sounds

Delta Kream has more in common with the raw sounds of The Big Come Up than it does El Camino.
For fans of blues covers, you'll probably really enjoy this. For fans of The Black Keys recent work, you'll be bored after one listen. If you even manage that.

I absolutely love the Black Keys.
I get that it's a blues cover album, I just miss the Garage-sound they normally have.

Picking up largely neglected threads from their early work, the album solidifies the Akron duo as one of the most vital and credible blues-rock bands active today.

There are a few misses, however. ’Do The Romp’ is sheer bar room bluster, while ‘Coal Black Mattie’ seems to stray too far into the line of being merely copyist. Yet when it works, it certainly works – potent and atmospheric ‘Delta Kream’ undoubtedly has its heart in the right place, while the core material stands as some of the most addictive elements of modern blues songwriting.

Laconic and acidly textured, Delta Kream is a perfect balance of the Black Keys' lo-fi swagger and keen ear for the Mississippi blues traditions that inspired it.
