There's enough here to keep diehard Coral heads satisfied, but a little more of the band's mercurial waywardness would've been welcome. [No. 130, p.55]

The extra girth suits them well, and their old wit and twinkle hasn’t deserted them as the shimmering, harmony-laden pop of Miss Fortune attests.

Distance Inbetween may not sound entirely like they are back on top form yet, but that’s not to suggest they’re far off.

The production, the songs, the emotion, the harmonies, etc. From the opening track I was hooked and it's been years since an album grabbed me instantly. I'll be going to the back catalogue as I've clearly missed the boat with The Coral. I give this a perfect score because In my opinion, it has everything. Thank you for remaining one of the few bands left in the world who write music. Full Review »
