MojoNov 22, 2016Tasseomancy's third album moves with a deceptively breezy sway. [Jan 2017, p.94]
-
UncutNov 22, 2016They situate their voices on a pillowy bed of experimental pop, freak folk and, best of all, the sax-enhanced exotica of the title track. [Jan 2017, p.31]

Nov 28, 2016Do Easy is harmless, a little preposterous and quite beguiling--just like all good goths.

-
Nov 28, 2016Here, twins Sari and Romy Lightman (formerly of electronic outfit Austra) translate that concept into a languid and mystical form of baroque folk pop that alternates between seducing and confounding the listener.
-
Dec 2, 2016Some of the sisters’ rippling Kate Bush worship is so high up in the ether (or vocal register) that the listener feels a little queasy when glancing down to the ground below, but this nausea is only short-lived and sporadic. Most of the album is in fact rather comfy and well thought-out, lightly jazzy in places and often soaked in reverb seemingly inherited from Dead Can Dance.
