  1. It's genuinely sad to note that "Everything's The Rush" sounds a little too much like hard work.
  2. Everything's The Rush isn't an awful record. Delays don't do awful; they just do okay, and okay might as well be called forgettable, because that's what the first part of this album is.
  3. Mojo
    40
The ultimate sugar hit: an occassional buzz but ultimately unsatisfying. [June 2008, p.103]
  4. Their seeming insanity only adds to the magic.
  5. Q Magazine
    60
A little less light and a little more shade, though, would make them a far more fascinating proposition. [June 2008, p.138]
  6. The dizzy, euphoric racket is occasionally brought earthward by lyrics that hint at darker troubles.
  7. Uncut
    60
Everything's The Rush plays it safer, eschewing the Cocteaus-esque material and dance-pop for a more route-one, stadium approach, hoofing it up to the big chorus. [July 2008, p.93]
