    This is an amazing album. Jimin did a great job and in each song you can feel as if it also my story, it is an album with Jimin's personal feelings but it fills all the senses and each song is enjoyed from beginning to end. It's a masterpiece!

However, the album as a whole is a cohesive piece of work, with a beginning, middle, and end, just like a movie. While expressing very personal emotions, the public is also easily emotionally involved.

    This album shows that Jimin can't be encapsulated in the k-pop genre, it shows he has grown musically and delivered an album enjoyable from start to finish. Face-Off should've been a single because it's the best track in the album besides Set Me Free Pt. 2, I wish the album was longer than 20 minutes, let's hope his next album is longer and as good as this debut.

    This is definitely my favourite EP this year so far. Each song has a different sound to it, from ballad to rap, to 80’s up beat sound with a modern elements and more. It’s quite an artistic way to mix the songs that somehow blend together and flow one after another perfectly. Jimin’s vocals and harmonies are just amazing, so distinctive. The lyrics are deep, raw and full of emotions,This is definitely my favourite EP this year so far. Im new to Jimin's sound so the reason I got to listen to the whole album is because of too many people from different fandoms in kpop hating him and posting hate comments online. I give it a listen to see if what they are saying is true but the 5 tracks are all good to me never skip any. Even the Interlude. Like crazy is a synth pop vibe and its suit Jimin's voice so much. Love face off as well its like different feel but jimin's is so versatile of different style. I dont understand the hate though. I wish for Jimin to soar high more and thanks to the haters I got to know Jimin's and bts works and their music more. Bravo!!!… Expand

    Jimin's first solo album FACE was the most anticipated album for me, i expect high quality songs and that's exactly what i got and even more so. It is such a pleasure to be able to listen to jimin's creativity and storytelling. The lyricism that tells a personal story that does resonate with me a lot. He exceeded my expectations and dropped a jaw dropping grand album. 10/10.

    Oh I am sorry but this is not a good album. The songs are not very good but hybe keep making jimin sing outside of his range and then have to use autotune and pitch correction to make it sound presentable. He used to sing sometimes in his comfortable range and he actually had quite a good voice and with more training from hybe he would have had a decent sounding vocal with a still ratherOh I am sorry but this is not a good album.     Best album of the year in my book! It had everything from high quality production dabbling in a number of genres to aggressive rap vocals and heartbreakingly beautiful delicate falsetto. Jimin really explored his vocal range while talking about some very relatable topics for the average person. I recommend it to anyone willing to listen without preconceived notions!

    The whole album is well crafted, it's a story-telling. Start with clownery-sound in face-off, Jimin talks about how he's betrayed by his close friend (I assume). I personally think the usage of circus sound at the beginning is    I don't how to start with this album, but for me this is really fantastic.     Interlude: Dive, we're invited to get a deeper side of Park Jimin. The contrast between Jimin BTS on the stage greeting fans and Park Jimin as a person here is really raw to be seen. Like Crazy tells you about how Jimin wants to escape from reality by drinking, partying, but then in Alone (starts with an alarm which shows morning has come) he gets to realize once again how lonely he feels.

    Set Me Free Pt.2 is such a banger! Don't know why people were so upset about this song when everything's well put (this is one of my fav tracks in this EP) conveying about how Jimin wants to be set free from his internal struggle/mind. Then the album is sweetly finished with a Letter for fans.

    Overall, this EP is fantastic and might be the best (if not) BTS solo release ever in my opinion.    … Expand

    Face is a fantastic debut EP, with an impressive range of sounds, emerging lyrical talent, great production and plenty of feeling and soul from the singer, Jimin. Even the most controversial track (Set Me Free Pt.2) makes for an intriguing listen with a vocal performance that sticks with you long after the first listen. Its autotune may be jarring to some, but the artistic intent behind itFace is a fantastic debut EP, with an impressive range of sounds, emerging lyrical talent, great production and plenty of feeling and soul from the singer, Jimin. Even the most controversial track (Set Me Free Pt.2) makes for an intriguing listen with a vocal performance that sticks with you long after the first listen. Its autotune may be jarring to some, but the artistic intent behind it is clear and it provides a delightful contrast to Jimin's soaring, clear high notes on the same track. My only criticism of this song would be that the English lyrics in the verses are somewhat weak, but other lyrics (both English and Korean) on the album easily make up for that. For those who can't get into Set Me Free pt.2 (which is still fair!), the title track Like Crazy is a hit from the very get-go: an addicting synth-pop club banger with the potential to be stuck in your head for weeks. I could even listen to the instrumental on its own and not be bored. Jimin sounds like pure honey, though, and possibly even more so in parts of the English version, which—to my surprise—I loved just as much as the original.

    Face-off and Alone are incredibly solid B-sides. Alone in particular was an instant favorite, it's such a gorgeous and evocative song. Going by the order of credits, it's also the song Jimin was most involved in, which is incredibly promising for his future solo ventures. Both songs highlight Jimin's impressive vocals that he can seemingly match to any style and, as promised, show something new and raw and soulful from the singer. I was surprised to hear the shallow criticism of Face-off's intro when it so uniquely sets the self-deprecating tone of the song and transitions really well into those opening bars. As one last comment, the interlude does a good job of bridging Face-off and Like Crazy and of establishing Face as a true concept album, one that the singer clearly thought through in every regard. It's been quite possibly my favorite debut from a K-pop artist and I'm more than excited to see where Jimin goes next in his career.    … Expand

Kicking off rather too short promotional activities with Set me Free pt 2 as a pre release was a genius move. Set me free pt 2 is not just a song, but a theatrical anthem that leaves you breathless as it immediately fully immerses you in the performance. Jimin who is a main dancer in BTS along with JHope just knows how to put on a performance as an exceptional dancer. It created such hype and buzz that it built up an enormous amount of anticipation for the title track, and Like Crazy in its synth pop genre did just the job, satisfying the anticipation. This EP was an experience for me that I will never forget. I'm very excited to see the further development of a super star artist Jimin, as a solo artist.     Wow! Jimin takes us on an emotional journey with his feelings. We start off with Face Off and just wow! The album is a masterpiece to Set Me Free! His vocal range is so amazing and unique! No one is doing it like Park Ji-min! I can’t wait to hear more from him!

    FACE is a verb here. This reflects how Jimin faced his emotions when he was down. It's a story of becoming free from it. His voice is unique and soft, just like his personality. Like Crazy is definitely a pop 80's vibe and I love it.
    Beware: Jobless fans of other kpop groups went out of their way just to add negative and troll on reviews of this album.

Set me Free pt 2 is an auditory experience with tasteful sprinkling of autotune. If you watch the mv the performance is mind blowing. It really is a song that needs that visual experience on top of auditory. Like crazy the title track is a nostalgic synth dance track that is so catchy and hypnotizining. My other favorite track is Alone, jimin's angelic and haunting vocals… Expand

    I wasn't a big fan of his voice but I recognized his instantly anywhere. I guess his voice has never been forgettable, after listening to his album his music doesn't leave my head, he has a unique tone and I start to like him. Even the interlude, which seems to be nothing, is incredible. Jimin made a good debut album

    Park Jimin has never disappointed us with his songs. Every song he has given us is so versatile and comforting. His first solo album Face is a hit! Face Off is bop, Set Me Free Pt2 my god no one even imagined he would release a song in that genre. He nailed it. And the Like Crazy is amazing song it gives The Weeknd vibes.

    This is the first album in many years that I listen to and enjoy every song in every detail, the music, the vocals, the rap, the choir. Jimin is a wonderful hardworking and very talented person and it feels like he put his feelings into this album and you can listen to it like reading a book that you can't put down and can't wait to reread.     Este álbum superó mis expectativas. La voz única de Jimin en todas sus matices hicieron que cada canción sea única. Los instruméntales que ha usado, los coros, los arreglos, hizo que ame demasiado este album. “Face” supero mis expectativas que tenia y me dejó con ganas de escuchar más. Espero que Jimin vuelva a sacar otro álbum porque es un gran artista.

    When I think about this being Jimin's debut album as a solo artist, I'm speechless. I reckon a majority of people expected his album to be sweet, filled with ballads, and not raw, aggressive, and bittersweet slice of life piece. Every song is a unique experimental masterpiece and seeing Jimin's name all over the credits for writing and composing makes my chest swell with pride.

    I am totally in love with this album, coz it’s very honest and brave. Like crazy - I can’t stop listening to this 1000% hit! Every song is so special and Jimin told us his stories. For me it’s one of the best albums of the year

    While it’s a short EP, it doesn’t disappoint. If anything, he presents himself as a soloist with an unexpected sound for his high-pitched countertenor voice and very far from those earlier ballads we have heard from him.

    Its six tracks wrap all too quickly, and while it was specified that Jimin doesn’t consider this a full-length project, it does leave the listener craving more music in this vein somewhere down the road — it’s worth repeating that the energy of “Face-off” is one that he should consider chasing most of all.
