Jul 21, 2017This is Tyler's most concise and consistent album in his entire catalogue. This is by far his most focused work and he shows his true creativity as an artist.

Aug 2, 2017Tyler takes away a bit of the "edgy teenager" vibe from most of his previous albums and goes for a more genuine album. He has talked about his feelings in most of his previous songs, but none are on the level of Flower boy. He genuinely talks about his feelings in whats probably his best-produced album (such as his suggested homosexuality).

Jul 24, 2017Picture yourself driving around with "Tyler The Creator" . Your talking about life , love , your fears this what the album feels like one long emotional car ride with tyler the creator and i loved it. cohesive is the word id like to use unlike his other albums theres no bumps in this metaphorical road just smooth driving all the way through. solid album 10/10

Jul 21, 2017As a first time listener of Tyler, this album is terrific. Tyler is able to create a smooth and consistent album. The flow of each song is great and shows how much Tyler has matured compare to his older albums where he was very experimental. If you've new to Tyler like me, this is an excellent album to start with.

Jul 22, 2017Tyler The Creator has delivered the most impeccable, fantastic, consistent and concise album from beginning to end. this is his best creativity on so many levels.

Jul 24, 2017After releasing what in my opinion his weakest album with Cherry Bomb, Tyler comes through with his most consistent, soulful, and beautiful work. Flower Boy delivers a concise and obvious message, it's a clearly a pathway to Tyler's soul.

Jul 22, 2017Tyler has developed many of the techniques he has used on every project from his past and it shows. Tyler obviously has been practicing every element of current musical library instead of trying new techniques, which is very pleasing for both his fans and his critics. Flower Boy is much more developed and grand than anything Tyler has done before.

Jul 26, 2017This album shows a great progression on Tyler's persona and work. Very few rap album's are engaging from start to finish while at the same time exporting a message.

Jan 9, 2018Tyler's maturation/ coming of age album. Wide array of sounds with a signature Tyler sound, and catchy chords and melodies.

Mar 15, 2019This album is art from Tyler, The Creator. Flower Boy has dope productions and the beats are on fire. Tyler definitely improves his rapping skills from his last album. I absolutely loved all the songs on the album. Flower Boy is one of the the best album of Tyler, The Creator’s Career. I Highly recommend it.

Feb 25, 2020Tyler's most consistent and still best album even with the release of IGOR. The production, features and overall stick of the album is top notch. I'm still amazed that Tyler found a way to make Jaden Smith's very deadpanned voice match well with a song.

Jul 30, 2017This guy is the new Corey Feldman, folks. He is a musical genius. He's gay, though, and for that reason: I'm out.

Jan 24, 2018This is a quiet, mellow album that works better as chill out music than work out music. ... Well worth checking out, especially if you thought Tyler was a one-trick pony.

The WireSep 1, 2017At some point in the future Tyler, The Creator may define his ideology and grow tedious with it; for now he remains on top form revelling in ambiguity. [Sep 2017, p.62]

Aug 9, 2017These days, there aren’t many rap albums that can service as a deeply digested work of art as well as music for easy listening, yet Tyler, The Creator fills both lanes well. He manages to find the happy medium on Flower Boy and translates it to his best album yet.
