    Perhaps the highest compliment you could pay this EP is that if you didn't know who it was and had no preconceived notions about what it should--or shouldn't--sound like, you'd think you had stumbled across something very special indeed.

    Mystery has forever shaped the mythology behind The Strokes, and they’re rarely so forthcoming. Which is why Casablancas’ peculiar transparency is one of the more alluring accomplishments of Future Present Past.

    Amazing work once again from The Strokes! After a three year hiatus they return with this little gem of a ep. Hints of Joy Division, VelvetAmazing work once again from The Strokes! Hints of Joy Division, Velvet underground, Television, and music from the days of yesteryear we get a unique blend of Casablanca's and the gang's new songs!
