    This was my favorite rap album of the year. Meghan blends her lyrical ability with catchy, fun hooks that will keep you dancing for the whole hour. I would highly recommend giving this masterpiece a listen ;)

    THE CREATIVTY!!!! Megan is a real life rapper, no doubt. From the versatility, to the lyricism, to the ferociousness, to the depth, to the production and samples etc...! I could go on and on there wasn't a single skip & I didn't even care for Megan until she dropped the singles then I went back to listen to her whole discography, and was astounded. This is a VERY solid and diverse hip hopTHE CREATIVTY!!!! Megan is a real life rapper, no doubt. From the versatility, to the lyricism, to the ferociousness, to the depth, to the production and samples etc...! I could go on and on there wasn't a single skip & I didn't even care for Megan until she dropped the singles then I went back to listen to her whole discography, and was astounded. This is a VERY solid and diverse hip hop album. Also very distinct and star-studded. I do wish she picked a different song for the 4th single and not body, but body is still a major bop lol… Expand

    Apesar de eu estar esperanod muito mais, o álbum cumpre com o estilo da Meg e tudo que ela vem criando. O álbum é bem dançante e tudo nele me lembra a Megan, além de ninguém menos do que Beyoncé estar nele, já é um grande motivo pra dar 10 pra isso.

    Um álbum composto por 17 faixas que não são cansativas e formam um conjunto íntegro e coeso, megan passa por diversos estilos e se sai bem em todos eles, uma surpresa boa pro ano de 2020. Trazendo uma produção digna dos clássicos dos anos 90 com uma cara contemporânea com as composições de Megan.

    This album is amazing, I thought that Megan would bet on an album with the sound pop age with rap, but she bet a lot on rap and the sound was incredible, along with all the work, this album is wonderful !!!!!

    Megan really did her thing! This is an amazing album, especially since it’s her debut. She shows a lot of versatility and the features are awesome. Savage Remix being my favourite song on the album, followed by Circles and Cry Baby.

    Masterpiece. Body is a catchy tune and comes with its very own viral tiktok dance. Such a remarkable woman. The use of sampling in Circles is a perfect balance of what rap and nostalgia should feel like. Absolutely amazing Album and can’t wait for her future music.

    Very diverse and versatile album. Megan was able to step out of her comfort zone and really deliver amazing songs in sounds she usually doesn’t venture in. Very proud of her!

    Gave us versatility with this one. She really did her thing! There’s songs with catchy lines and the songs you’re not feeling in the first listen grow on you after 2-3 listens. Definitely worth it.

    This was suchh a good album! From Movie, to Body, to intercourse, every song was a bop and the album had a song for everyone to vibe to. The only way you could dislike every song on that album is if you were a hater. Period. Point. Blank.

    Some of these users came just to hate after seeing her get good critic scores lol. This album is versatile and shows her range. It’s fun, sexy, and impressive. The production is amazing. Great samples and hard bars. Very proud of megan. Some people were wishing on her downfall but this album proves she’s here to stay.

    A very well rounded album, that shows Megan's ability to be versatile, as she is able to dominate every song with her commanding voice and genuine talent. The fact that she also collaborated and sampled other talented artists is a great addition. Would definitely recommend whether you consider yourself a fan or not.

Most tracks hit in a quick, 2-3 minute manner where they strike sonically almost as quick as they simply end, making standouts very easy to replay and low points even easier to avoid or forget. This mayMegan's flow and energy on the mic is beyond that of most rappers this early into their career, and on Good News she flourishes her skillset showing off higher-budget sounds to play with.     The crisp production makes this feel like a well-thought-out and intentional release, rather than a rushed cash-grab. However, it’s this poise that makes Good News exactly that: good. When held up to past releases like Tina Snow and Fever, Megan’s larger-than-life personality over the Dirty South production she is most familiar with is not showcased to its full potential.

    When Megan moves away from her standard lyrical fare, perpetuating her beef with Tory Lanez on opening track Shots Fired or penning the poppy tune Don’t Rock Me To Sleep, the results are some of the best moments on the album, and if these aspects of her style had been explored some more it could have made for a more diverse LP, but Good News is still chock-full of catchy hooks, stellar verses and feisty attitude.
