Just one of the bests albums I've ever heard. It comes with a not-generic pop, deep letters and fantastic melodies. The collabs and feats are perfect for who Lauv is becoming, specially Alessia Cara and Troye Sivan. It's a grammy-deserved album!

One thing "~how i'm feeling~" proves is how Lauv can truly write a very catchy pop tune and make it worth its while. That was a very good debut for Lauv. Of course, is not exceptional and some songs should not be in there, but overall it had a lot of decent tracks.

Ignored this album for almost a week. I really find the album cover very cheesy -- feels like a 90s boyband album cover or promotional poster. Thanks to Metacritic, I've got to see more about the artist and the album. I tried it and enjoyed it. Collaborations with my favorite artists was one of the reasons I like it.

~how i’m feeling~ is the debut studio album from Lauv, as he released his first album “I met you when I was 18.” a couple of years ago as a compilation album. Though I did not give ~how i’m feeling~ as high of a score as I met you when I was 18., there are a significant number of songs on Lauv’s latest that more than deserve a listen. I want to put all my feelings (haha get it? Because of the song title? No? Well, okay then) about each song but sadly that would push my review past the 5000 character limit. There's just so much I could say about this album. Overall, I am feeling kind of mixed about Lauv’s latest. There are some stellar standouts mixed in with rather mediocre releases as well. Of course, it must be hard producing an album with over 20 songs in it and having them all be amazing. It doesn’t quite measure up to I met you when I was 18., but ~how i’m feeling~ certainly has its selling points. I would definitely recommend most of the songs in this album to anyone who loves substantial music to listen to, and I will certainly be adding several songs in here to my playlist. Highlights: Lonely Eyes, Sims, Believed, Feelings, Canada, For Now, Mean It, i’m so tired…, Sad Forever, Invisible Things, and Modern Loneliness.

this album is absolutely mesmerizing, he did a awesome job embracing, understanding his pain, sadness and joy, perfectly balancing those and more feelings in the album, it's extense, but absolutely worth it, I loved

good singles choice, definitely a way to introduce song by song till the album released and every release is a bop making me expect too much from the album, which kinda let down a bit.

When your only complaint on an album is that "it might be too long", then you know you're in for a solid debut from a rising star in pop. Slowly releasing the singles over a year, from the catchy "I'm So Tired" with Troye Sivan, to latest click & hum along Tattoos Together, there has been a real sense of momentum from Lauv.
The album has a clear agenda, and it sets out to deliver it's

The album has a clear agenda, and it sets out to deliver it's moments of loneliness, humour, life, love & heartbreak throughout. For a debut (ignoring his playlist), this is a strong & accomplished album, and destined to be played throughout the spring & summer.

He innovated a lot with this album, the way he sings about his life, his difficulties and how he coped with it is incredible. He is helping other people that have the same problems that he had and still have, i’m a proof. I loved this album with all of me

Pretty much all songs are really catchy. Production is good. Also the song communicates feelings really well, fitting the theme of the album.

There may be six different versions of Lauv pulling the strings, but in the end, they all sound alike.

[“Modern Loneliness”] is quietly anthemic; an ode to the contradictions of contemporary culture and the cognitive dissonance of wanting to feel better but not doing anything to get there. It’s the perfect conclusion to an album which speaks to the various anxieties of both its subject and its listeners.
