    Very special album for many reason. Firstly it is RM’s debut album so I was very excited to finally hear Indigo. It did not disappoint and I am in awe of his artistry. An artist like Namjoon comes only once in a lifetime what an icon! To lead BTS to stardom and now releasing this increíble body of work it is beyond inspiring. My favorite tune from the album is closer as the rhythm andVery special album for many reason. Firstly it is RM’s debut album so I was very excited to finally hear Indigo.     One of the best albums that came out in 2022. Namjoon is known for his amazing lyricism and I, personally, feel like this album is the best example to prove just how great his lyricism is. Another thing about this album that makes it so special is all the other legends that feature in it. I loved each and every song so much and so proud of Namjoon for everything he has done!

    I'm completely in love with Indigo, Wild Flower is amazing and touches my soul, while Closer and Lonely I can't get off repeat. This album delivers so many facets of Namjoon, and I love it.

    Amazing album, with a great lyrics. RM shows us once againg that he is a real musician. There's no skips on Indigo, i love all songs but if i have choose one it will be Still Live. Thank you Namjoon for this sublime album.

    This album best describes RM's peptic and thoughtful lyrics. The production and instrumentation is splendid with elements of jazz, funk and rock blending along with RM raps.

    Indigo is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish. Every single featured artist brings a completely different flavour to the last.

    The lyrics are so very deep and touch on hard real emotions that connect with the listener. RM is a lyrical genius and I highly recommend this album.

Indigo is the archive of Namjoon's 20s this is not just an album it's his memories feelings and diaries every word carries a huge wheight lifted off his shoulders...for me personally the music i connect with the most is the one that takes me on a journey of emotions and images i felt that with every song of indigo the way it flows reflecting his soul and adding to that the color associated with this album with the image of "still life" it creares a unique masterpiece And when it comes to his lyrics he's simply a genius he always manage to bring in a new prespective and show us something so familiar like the "still life" in a very different light and that blows my mind Just like when he described the waves in "don't" his words just give me goosebumps
    Not so many artist have the effect that Namjoon has on me he makes my brain work in a different way his wordplay makes every song more and more interesting just like a painter adding layers and layers to the canvas when you hear it at first you get a certain feeling and once you read the lyrics it takes you deeper and then you get to understand all the hidden meaning and the stories behind every song losing the sense of time and place admiring the painting infront of you that change with every layer of the song Listening to indigo inspired me to look at art in a new perspective and appreciate Namjoon more and more i'm grateful that there is an artist that can make me feel so much and connect to their art to this level someone who can move my emotions and open my mind to so many different genres and interduce so many artists from different backgrounds in one album the diversity and art that he put in the album is insane and the most important thing that he was able to speak his truth and expand his discography to the range that it covers all the stories he wanted to tell and all the emotions he kept within him for the past 7 years i will always be grateful to be able to enjoy music again thanks to him thank you Namjoon    … Expand

I'll be listening to this album til I'm old and grey- I'm already tempted to rent a nice car and take a 2 week road trip around the United States just to listen to Indigo as intended in as many different environments as possible. It's a part of me now and will be changing with me in my heart. God bless Kim Namjoon forIndigo by RM hasn't changed my life yet but good things take time. I'll be listening to this album til I'm old and grey- I'm already tempted to rent a nice car and take a 2 week road trip around the United States just to listen to Indigo as intended in as many different environments as possible.     Namjoon was so good in this, i have already listened to his other projects "mono" and "Rap Monster" but Indigo really managed to exceed my expectations. I'm so proud of him, first official solo album and it was excellent.

    This is an album that is truly timeless and will be enjoyed for generations to come. The main single 'Wild Flower' is a curious choice as it is over 4 minutes long and in almost all Korean, both aspects which would make most musicians hesistant to include let alone make the single, in this era of streaming and quick TikTok trends. But this just proves that music, and lyrics are what is at heart of RM's artistry. A stark difference in what we see nowadays. A special mention should be given to Change Pt.2, a personal favourite. A rollercoaster of emotion, the different dynamic and vibe to the rest of the album, it is refreshing and also leaves you wanting more.

    RM has outdone himself yet again! From Track 1 to 10, there are absolutely 0 skips! He has put his heart and soul into this masterpice and it really shows... from the deep soul-touching lyrics & mesmerising vocals/rap to the masterful arrangement and production- everything is top notch! Amazing how 10 songs from 10 different genres can mesh so well in one album. Has this ever been done before? Easily one of the best albums of the century.     Every collab in this album has a reason, they are all connected to the stories RM wanted to tell from his 20s. The album starts with how an artist first needs to live, and be a human to create art, using legendary Erykah Badu to convey the message more convincingly, a person who has been through more and carries that belief in her life as an artist. Then it has many questionings, manyEvery collab in this album has a reason, they are all connected to the stories RM wanted to tell from his 20s. The album starts with how an artist first needs to live, and be a human to create art, using legendary Erykah Badu to convey the message more convincingly, a person who has been through more and carries that belief in her life as an artist. Then it has many questionings, many things he wants to do, many disappointments and decisions he makes in the middle. They are conveyed in a way like he is thinking to himself, he is trying to decide or undecide like in a conflict. Which becomes even more apparent with the title track; Wildflower, the 9th track. The song starts with conclusion, and then the journey to the conclusion is given to the listeners. Just like how the album started with "being a human before making art", in this song too RM is trying to be human, and wants to get rid of the greed and unending desires fame brings. And while the shows he gives as BTS may seem like "fireworks" impressive but dying out quickly, he says he wants to bloom underneath all the sparkles like wildflowers, slowly, under his control only. Which is something BTS has always shared, creating a legacy and growing as humans and artists first, so this message is not surprising to fans. This desire explodes in RM cos of all the blabbering happening around him whether it be industry people or netizens or anyone else, and this explosion is given to the listeners with the powerful forceful voice of Youjeen, the lead vocalist of legendary rock band from Korea; Cherry Filter. Hearing the journey to this conclusion may feel bittersweet, the ending only brings bliss and hope for the future.
    So the album has an extra conclusion made by RM, shared with us in the last track; No.2 which the name comes from "chapter 2" as in moving forward. He decides he won't be looking back and wondering if he should have made different choices, if he could have done better, or if he could have done less mistakes... He decides this version of his life and himself is the best he could get just like in "Doctor Strange" as he tells his fans, and he brings another legendary sound from Korea, Park Ji Yoon; another senior to convey the message "you will protect yourself from now on, dont look back anymore, you've done your best" in a way a senior comforts a younger artist.
    Last two tracks concludes the album with "I will stay me, and i will keep moving forward only". A rare statement you can get from an artist these days especially with them sharing the real journey with this level of sincerity.
    In its totality; the album has 10 different genres from folk, r&b, to pop, city pop to rock... He always gives the song what it needs naturally with no forceful sounds. He is a poet at heart, that is how he started and this album demonstrated is perfectly. And because he is the owner of all the messages in this album, he knows how each of them should be delivered which i think it is one of the reasons this album has moments that can be so relatable to a listener at some point in their lives, and become part of their lives comfortably like a "worn out jeans" as he says.
    I would like to give this album a 9.9 but it deserves a 10. I would want to give 9.9 because some are saying this album is "his masterpiece" and while this album is a masterpiece of an album 100%, I know deep down as RM being a person that always betters himself, always adds something to his views, ideas, techniques and pen... I know the best is still yet to come.    … Expand

    Reflecting the last 4 years of this incredible young man's life. The fear, the pain, the joy, and the resolve to continue. it's a beautiful work of art as only Kim Namjoon can create. It's also a sonically rich album, excellent productions. Each song can stand alone. Sounds so good playing on my new speakers.

    Wow! This album is a pure masterpiece! The songs flow smoothly throughout the album. The music genres are very diverse, from soft rock, pop, to acoustic. You can really feel RM's musicality and lyricism in every song. The more I hear the album the more I fall in love with it. Amazing job RM!
