    AMAZING ALBUM.
    he's a rapper and a lot of rappers have albums with a lot of collaborations, i really like how he knows who it's best for each track. he specifically choose people that are his friends and no fake emotions are involved... i really got hit after listening it.
    i also almost cried. i'm genuinely in love with how he express himself. so i don't really understand some of the    AMAZING ALBUM.

    This is no doubt one of my favorite albums of my life. He writes such beautiful lyrics they can make me cry. He is a more than a lyricist, a poet. I hope he will never stop sharing his art with us.

    Namjoon is such a compelling story teller. Listening to the album in order; you are taken on a journey on his life, showcasing his inner thoughts and being reflective on his life experiences.

    I recommend listening in order. The collaborators and genres are diverse but the lyrics and theme blend so well together going in order. Highly highly advise reading lyrics. It reads like poetry and i think the feelings and lyrics are selivered in a way that anyone can relate to. Masterpiece

This album is for those of us who started in our 20s, the older brothers, the middle ones, the younger ones, for those who are adults and feel lost, for those who feel lonely, It is for those who are losing the meaning of life.     The first track really set the tone for the overall feel of the album, I don't mean sonically though but emotionally. Rm who is widely known as a the philosopher who raps or simply 'the poet' does not disappoint in anyway with his lyricism through out the album. It was a pleasant suprise to hear how sonically diverse the tracks were compared to his work on mono.     An album that embodies RM's thinkings and emotions. I already know he is a prolific lyricist and a poet who raps cooly but this album showcased his humanistic rawness, ideals, uniqueness and deep emotions. I am just so amazed of how he is so impressive in anything he does yet he is simply humble and relatable at the same time. While listening to the songs in Indigo I felt like RM isAn album that embodies RM's thinkings and emotions.     One of the best songwriters of all time. If only people tried to look into his English lyric translations, they would realize how genius this man is. This album is an artwork created by the artist Kim Namjoon. Every single track is a masterpiece. He just doesn't get the praise he deserves. One day y'all will realize how badly y'all slept on him.

RM gave us three completely different masterpieces - RM, mono and now Indigo, each representing his state of mind at a certain point in his life. What differentiates Indigo is that although it's a reflection of his '20s, it is really polished, and the features in the album give us allIndigo is truly a journey - honest, reflective, beautiful, nostalgic and hopeful at the same time.     This album is an absolute delight, seemingly at first without a particular genre but after multiple listens establishes itself as a mainstay. Personally LOVE "Closer" and "Lonely" but every song has now imprinted itself on my heart and this is an album i will be listening to over and over for years to come.

From the beginning with Yun, which I had to go research the artist’s biography, to No. 2 which closes a set of emotions, rawness, honesty & fragility well delivered by Namjoon.     MY COMFORT ALBUM! Listening to this album feels like a warm hug. Irrespective of how I feel each day, ending my day with this album just makes me so calm and happy. Namjoon is indeed a legend and his pen game is insane!

    Where do I start… I think it is unfair to reduce Namjoon to just a singer, a rapper, or an idol. He’s an ARTIST, and this album proves it. His pen is just out of this world. There isn’t a single skip in this album. I’m still obsessed with every single song on it, months after its release. My favorites might be Wildflower, Hectic and Closer, but I genuinely love the entire album.

    There is no one track I don't like. The conceptual aspects of each song are incredible, especially Yun - artistry and legacy between life and death - and Still Life - relativity of motion. I was afraid that the number of collaborations would make this album feel cluttered but it's the opposite. It truly feels like everyone further highlights RM's singing, rapping or both. So, with Indigo its like I can finally take a break after running for so long. Not that this album doesn't have happy danceable songs (ex.     This album is ART. RM puts his heart into every line. The stories he tells are so honest and authentic. No 2 songs sound alike, he really shows versatility here. Also features some amazing artists like Erykah Badu, Anderson Paak, Youjin, Paul Blanco and more.

    Indigo is a work of art. The different sounds, vibes, and feelings you get from the album are unique. Unlike other albums that have songs that all sound the same… Indigo stretches the border line and reaches many genres and people. Such great work!

    The lyrics in the album truely hit home. Some tracks hitting the loneliness you can feel even when your surrounded by others. Namjoon brought forth his heart and soul in the album walking us through his emotions in art. 10/10 album also the features added something extra special to the story.

    I’ve lived with Indigo for nearly five months and I’m now convinced I will never never never grow tired of it! I still change my favorite song every few days and am completely in love with all 10. I’ve taught literature for more than a decade and believe the lyrics are pure poetry. As Emily Dickinson said, “If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that isI’ve lived with Indigo for nearly five months and I’m now convinced I will never never never grow tired of it! I still change my favorite song every few days and am completely in love with all 10. I’ve taught literature for more than a decade and believe the lyrics are pure poetry. As Emily Dickinson said, “If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.” This is how I felt upon listening to RM’s Indigo the first time. Then I printed out the lyrics and translations and put them in a binder so I can scribble notes in the margins. As with all my favorite writers, the meaning changes with the seasons and with life. There are layers. I’ve cried to songs like No. 2 & Wildflower and belted out Lonely with my friend who lost her husband last year. It’s an incredibly hopeful album even as Namjoon never shies away from raw honesty as he looks at the pain he has experienced in his life. How can an album composed of 10 distinct genres be so cohesive?! Each song is so unique and perfect. The reason Indigo never gets old is that it’s sonically interesting. Nothing cliché is in this album; it’s full of surprises and ear worms. Indigo is best listened to volume up as high as possible as you speed down the interstate for hours. It’s a JOURNEY. It’s also your best friend when you have to do those mindless household chores. It makes you more creative when you cook a dinner from scratch with a good glass of red wine in hand. I’ve begun to divide my life into Indigo units of time. I walk 2 Indigos nearly every day— that is, I walk 32 minutes one way then turn around and walk 32 minutes back home. Instead of 10-15 minute sets of exercise or hooping I do a Change Pt.2 +Wildflower + No.2 or any combination of the songs. It is truly the soundtrack to my life and one of only a handful of albums that I feel this way about. (Tea for the Tillerman, Nick of Time, Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme, Doo Wops & Hooligans, Songs in the Key of Life, Parachutes, & Eva Cassidy’s Songbird) Indigo will outlast them all for me. Finally, I want Kim Namjoon to know that, yes, I listen to Indigo when I drive, drink my coffee & take a walk. I listen to it when I take a shower, work on my computer, and when I sit in the sun reading a book. I do dance to it. And I have listened to it when flowers bloom or fall. Somehow I hope that I can send a message through the universe to poet & musician RM how very thankful I am for this gift of words and music.… Expand

    If there's one person who knows how to make soul-healing music, that's KIM NAMJOON. I love love indigo, he has been working on it since 2019 almost 3 years with collaborations from various people he looks up to.
    I'm glad he could put out this masterpiece of an album when most of us needed it.

    The scope of genres of this album is amazing. The 10 tracks are so different from each other you would think it was mainly sang and written by 10 different artists. And yet, RM was able to meld them in one album that shows his maturity, range, artistry and versatility. I hope everyone would give this album a listen top to bottom. Best 30mins of your day no doubt.

    You can tell RM put his soul into this album. Amazing collabs with Tablo, Anderson .Pakk, Youjeen, Erykah Badu etc. My personal favourite track is Lonely. Highly recommended!

When Joon said we'll know why he chose to collaborate with the artists he chose when we listen to the album he was right. He also said this album is light an exhibition or art work he personally curated. It made me happy. My special fave is the TITLE TRACK "WILDFLOWER" Wildflower gives u an open opportunity to grief with all the what ifs in ur life and then gives u hope at the same time. The variety of genres seems natural, and the talents chosen to work with Namjoon are literally legends that contribute immensely to the unique audiovisual experience that is indigo.     Listening 'Indigo' from start to finish just like how RM asked us, and I can say that was one of the best experience I've ever felt. 'Indigo' for me is the definition of love at first listen. What a masterpiece, one of the best album I've ever heard in my life. Legend!

    You're favourite song is in this album. Not just because the rhythm is catchy or because it matches your genre taste. But because it depicts your lifestory during your highs or during your lows. Naturally, RM of BTS has gifted me with 10 of my favourite songs. I carry them whenever I go, and I hope you can too. He's the most understanding K/Hip-hop artist of our generation. Enjoy

Indigo is really my daily jam, feels like an eternal friend that always give me comfort however sucks my situation is…I couldn’t really describe this album with so many words, so I could only encourage you to listen to the whole album, from the very first track till the end.     A mixed genre album that somehow manages to sound cohesive. The connecting link between each song being RMs versatile voice and his lyrics.
    Each song paints a picture of a person who has lived and experienced the world in its fullest. The individual tracks are emotionally rich and moving.

    RM is writer and poet born to be a rapper. His evolution from RM to mono to Indigo has been such a fascinating journey that it's hard to believe myself that he's that same boy from Korea who was just fascinated with rap and hip-hop artists. I'm so proud of his evolution so far and hope to hear much more in the future!

No.2 resonates with me the most and Joon’s words of “not looking back in the past and saying that you did your best and that you’ll be the only one who can protect yourself, you chose your past and now you’re choosing your present and you will choose your future as well and throughout all this there will be some hardships that we face and we have so many regrets about our past but please dont look back” this has given me great advice and comfort. I’m honestly so grateful to namjoon for creating a beautiful masterpiece like Indigo. I know that I’ll be cherishing this beautiful album for the rest of my life… Expand

    Namjoon (RM) exceeded my expectations with INDIGO. His artistry is commendable!
    I loved how each collaboration had a meaning to it and it wasn't made just for the sake of it. The album is a solid 10/10. Looking forward to more of his music !!

    I had incredibly high expectations of this album, and actually tried to moderate myself because RM had indicated that this work was unlike anything previous. I really did not know what to expect, despite knowing his talent. I was not disappointed. If anything he managed to surprise me again, just when I thought it was impossible for me to have more respect for his work.

    This album demonstrates his incredible range as a musical artist, but it also is lyrically beautiful. Full of raw emotion and vulnerability, tempered by an edge of defiance. Read the lyrics, especially if you do not speak Korean.

    Give this album an earnest listen. This isn't what the general public seems to think BTS is. BTS have never been what they are pigeon-holed as. They are often misunderstood, their lyricism ignored because of the industry they have come from, but this work in particular has a gravity that deserves some attention. I hope people greet it with open minds and hearts.

    Kim Namjoon had hoped that this album would stay with us a long time. I can confidently say I will hold it carefully always, like a leaf in my palm.    … Expand
