    Jack in the box is an album that conveys a strong and important message about what real life is and what’s behind a successful artist when we don’t see him. Each of its songs is delivered in a magistral way including thoughtful lyrics and well-produced music. This is a worth-listening masterpiece.

    Bravo to j-hope for releasing a debut that's a brave, raw and authentic portrait of himself as a solo artist and person. Sure, he let down the fair weather BTS/GP fans who expected only his manufactured always-sunny persona. How can he grow as an artist if he doesn't step out of his comfort zone? I am so damn proud of him!! I loved all the tracks, especially MORE, ARSON, = (equal sign)Bravo to j-hope for releasing a debut that's a brave, raw and authentic portrait of himself as a solo artist and person. Um som que trouxe um pouco de nostalgia, que te transporta para dentro de si, que faz você refletir sobre o passado mas também traça um vislumbre do futuro.     Many genres and full of amazing lyrics that truly show the different sides of j-hope. Contrast of white/black and the fork in the road with the two title tracks More and Arson is a literal masterpiece.

The pacing was great, besides bangers like 'More' he incorporated quieter moments like 'Music Box' as an interlude to prepare the listener for the next part of the album. 'More' is truly a daring piece expressing feral ambition, and it encapsulates the overarching theme of him breaking out of theUnique and refreshing concept, j-hope had a story to tell and he did it in an exciting way.     Sounds that anyone can listen to and feel good about, the main pieces MORE and Arson are absolutely perfect if it's about superficial introduction but already inside you realize that it's just the beginning of what I would describe as a sublime work.
    J-hope has given us so much of himself on this album that could not have been perceived in any other way than Hope and Brilliance.

He created a masterpiece that changed the narrative and set the standard really high not just for the others in his team or genre but for the industry. Really a big breath of fresh air.     Chapter 2 starts with Jhope giving us a masterpiece album. It is a bold move to strike out with mix type genre of K-pop with a touch of metal, rock, grunge, and old-school hip-hop. All the songs when played sequentially construct Jhope's storyline. The songs are not only hypnotic but extremely catchy. I just love the edgy tones. This is one of the best albums that I have heard.

    As a fan of more hard-sounding music I was pleasantly surprised with this album, actually. If we take a look into Hope World, his first mixtape, one of my favorite songs, sound wise, will be Base Line.
    And as a fan of j-hope I felt a lot of mixed emotions, in a    Jack in the Box let’s us see the other side of j-hope, side that was hidden or rarely seen, like the other side of the moon.

    If only talking about an album, j-hope did such an amazing and overwhelming job with telling a story through his music.
    Starting with a story of Pandora’s Box in Intro and continuing in the second song of the same name, j-hope tells us a story of his name, thing that made him who he is now. He is the Hope trapped in a box, finding it’s way out. Maybe hope is not always something pleasant? It may be filled with darkness and harsh emotions, too. I highly recommend you watching his performance at MAMA 2022, just a little glimpse of what he is capable of, a sneak pic into Jack’s Box.
    What if.. is my favorite in this album. Even though I’m a little biased due to how much I love songs sounding like this, but it truly is a work of art. Hoseok tells about his insecurities, asking questions more to the fate and universe than us or himself. What if he did not have anything? Will he still think the same, say those things, feel those feelings? Will he still be him?
    Equal Sing (=) is nominated for a Grammy in Social Change category, if I recall it right. Well, the name of the song says it all. Please, give it a shot, read the lyrics too, maybe? A little hope for the future is needed to anyone.
    I’d love to write about every single song on Jack in The Box, but that will be too lengthy, sorry haha. But I truly love this album with my whole heart. Please, give it a chance. If you wouldn’t like it it’s completely fine, we can not please everyone:) But maybe you will find something you were looking for in j-hope’s art, just as I myself did.    … Expand

    J-hope is the most beautiful man in the world. He sings, he dance, he raps, he write his own songs and even produced them. He's everything for an Idol and we couldn't ask for more but for the fans and all the people in whole world to recognize how multi talented this man is.     The album is well done on so many levels from the theme to the order of the tracks to tell a cohesive story from start to finish. Jhope perfectly shares his thoughts and topics both musically and lyrically. The only bad thing about this album is that it's so short.

    This album carries profound messages of self-reflection, courage, hope, equality and kindness. Despite the heavy themes, they were delivered in creative and entertaining ways that are uncommon with artists that call Korea their home. j-hope is a genius who breaks language barriers and connects with listeners through his love for music.

    With every listen this album get's better and better, i can't get Arson out of my head, j-hope showed us a new side of him in this album, the music the lyrics the order of the songs tells a story, he steped out of his comfort zone and the result is 10/10 album.
