Equal Sign es mi favorita sin duda, el ritmo combinado con la letra que habla de ser mejores personas, de mirar un lado diferente y no odiar nuestras diferencias :')

One of the most creative outputs from an outstanding performer! Jhope has, time and again, successfully retained our attention to his sincere messages and vision of himself and this album does exactly that. Hats off to his talent and skills!

With his first official solo album, J-hope reestablished himself as one of todays greatest Korean songwriters. Whole album is well though through, creative, cohesive and brilliant. His storytelling skill combined with old-school hip-hop beats created a masterpiece that is yet to be matched by other Korean solo releases.

Have totally enjoyed all songs created by Jhope for this album. I call it an intelligent album from the first song to last. My favorite is Equal Sign with its messsge. Este álbum logra que nos demos cuenta que la industria aún tiene raperos, letristas y compositores que valen la pena.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Easily one of the best albums of the year. Not only the production but also the lyrics and the meaning take you through a magnificent and interesting journey.
Sounds that anyone can listen to and feel good about, the main pieces MORE and Arson are absolutely perfect if it's about superficial introduction but already inside you realize that it's just the beginning of what I would describe as a sublime work.
J-hope has given us so much of himself on this album that could not have been perceived in any other way than Hope and Brilliance.
    Absolutely magnificent!

This was one of the best albums of 2022, by far. The concept of the album is brilliant and of course the content. So impressive, the songs and the lyrics, they are amazing. My favourite songs are: Pandora's Box, Equal Sign , Future and Arson. If you like a good old school rap with a bit of R & B, this is your album. Un album conceptual en el que jhope analiza lo que a aprendido durante los 9 años de su carrera y como esto construye su personalidad y sus valores, mucho más experimental que su mixtape hope world pero sin olvidar las ritmos que lo caracterizan

The instrumentation throughout the whole album was just tremendously good, and as usual Jhope killing it with his amazing vocal. The song 'Stop' really brought me back to my teenage years, and when I heard ODB sample in 'What If', it almost brought me to tears!! I will treasure this album so much, thank you Jhope for such a beautifully crafted album from start to finish! Expand

Whether the music on Jack in the Box suits your taste or not, it’s hard to dismiss this album as an artistic statement rather than just chapter 1/7 of BTS proving they can also make money in ways beyond official group releases.

The artist born Jung Ho-seok delivers emotional depth and irresistible energy. Backed by rowdy production, his aggression, raspy delivery, and tongue-twisting bars take center stage, showcasing the rap-focused perspective that he brings to the BTS formula.

There’s an excellent three track run from “What if…,” an energetic song that samples Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” into mid-tempo standout “Safety Zone” before a touch of Hope World familiarity returns in the optimistic “Future.”
