    Es de los mejores álbumes que he escuchado en la decada de hiphop. Jhope llega con un nuevo estilo y con su rap para hacernos sentir sus más profundos sentimientos con este álbum, que en definitiva nos conmueve con sus letras y sus beats.     I like how he yet for a unique style ,which is different from his previous mixtape 'hopeworld' ,i think the best for arson was fire ,my fav song from the album is "stop'
    ,I also like the concept quite alot ,my top favs from the album are equal sign ,stop and more I would recommend this album to others, give it a try ,u might like it

Y la forma en que logra fusionar ritmos es espectacular, sin duda un Artista completo que busca crecer y romper los estereotipos a través de su música.

He took the risk and step out of that pop/idol box and bare himself in the public at the heights of their career. I always knew this is his type of music from the moment I watched and listened to BTS, 5 yeas ago. Ever since BTS changed their genre from Khiphop to Kpop, I wanted Hoseok to go backJack In The Box is groundbreaking for a kpop artist. It's raw and masterful at the same time.     Incredible album!! It feels like I'm meeting JHope for the first time! He really showed new colors in this album while at the same time bringing back elements from old hip hop that he used in previous songs. My favorite songs are = (Equal Sign) and STOP.

    A very solid album. U can tell he understands the inner workings of hiphop but still stays true to who he is without the usual gimmicks of trying to imitate someone he's not. The album tells a very interesting story when listened from top to bottom. The intro and interlude were very unique. I love it please show it some love and congratulations to Jhope on a jaw dropping solo debut

    Jack In The Box is a completely different album from what we were used to coming from Jhope, but even if you have not seen the translation of the songs or sought to know the artist's intentions it is possible to feel the vibration of the message.     Jack in the box is an album without a doubt surprising, each track is different from the other that when you listen to it for the first time you do not know what kind of beats the next track you hear will have, the lyrics of each song is a great reflection, j-hope did an excellent job with this album.

    A brilliantly cohesive album, it is best enjoyed from top to bottom with no pauses. The message is solid and sonically there is enough variety to keep the listener engaged. Great flows and lyrics from j-hope with a surprise dose of smooth vocals.

    This album is breathtaking. If I could tattoo the album to my head I would. This album has me crying, shaking AND throwing up because of how amazing it sounds. Personally '= (Equal Sign)' is my favorite track. It just has everything a song needs! Overall the album has NO skips and if you think otherwise you're just wrong.

    I use the phrase “masterpiece” quite often when referring to Ho-seok’s music, but ‘Jack In The Box’ is beyond a masterpiece. It's superlative, transcendent, and wondrous. It's a whole vibe from start to finish. I’m awestruck by Ho-seok's bravery, transparency, and his willingness to share his deepest fears and insecurities.

It's superlative, transcendent, and wondrous. It's a whole vibe from start to finish. I’m awestruck by Ho-seok's bravery, transparency, and his willingness to share his deepest fears and insecurities.

    I imagine writing this album has been very therapeutic for Ho-seok. It was bold and brave of him to break out of the singular ‘sunshine’ j-hope persona that accompanied his success through the years. It served him well for a time while simultaneously confining him. At some point, he seems to have become aware of how this persona limited the perception of him as an artist and how it clouded the reality of his achievements. ‘Jack In The Box’ clarifies any such delusions.

    This album is the perfect illustration of how much j-hope has grown and matured both professionally and personally. It also demonstrates how he is far beyond the labels he took on and to played for years. He’s actually a very complex person with many deep thoughts and concerns.

    j-hope and 'Jack In The Box ' both, are worthy of Grammys. I strongly encourage j-hope to fight for the opportunity to submit in multiple categories, specifically the categories of 'Best New Artist, and 'Production'. If nothing else, being nominated would prove rewarding itself, and I think he has a perfect chance of winning.    … Expand

    Putting out a conceptual album is not an easy task, but J-Hope did it with the upmost ease. Jack In The Box is solid, cohesive and personal. J-Hope's 'darker' side, which we've already seen in the past on songs like '1 Verse', shows his artistic growth and how comitted he is to deliver a quality body of work. It's almost impossible to pick only one favourite song.

    Personally quite unexpected, but definitely not in a bad way. This album shows his growth and versitality in terms of music and composition. My favourite tracks are Safety Zone and MORE.

    Desde el comienzo del álbum nos propone algo distinto pero aun asi no es posible haber predicho el final del mismo. JHope a crecido como artista y pretende seguir haciendolo para mostrarnos que siempre puede ofrecer mas.

    Jung Hoseok nos ha dado algo nuevo, una vez más nos ha demostrado el talento que tiene, seas o no parte de ARMY sin duda alguna logras disfrutar cada una de las canciones, las líricas y su producción son bien ejecutadas por el rapero. Es un álbum bastante versátil y corto, lo que lo hace genial!

    Don’t usually take the time to write album reviews but I felt that I should with this album. Gosh, I never expected these songs! Really surprised in a good way. J-Hope showed us a darker side of him (we also got a small glimpse of it on Hopeworld). He really took the plunge and I think it paid of! Really loved every song, even the intro fit perfectly in the story and flow of the album. YouDon’t usually take the time to write album reviews but I felt that I should with this album. With Rock, R&B, soul and Asian pop/hip hop trickled throughout the project we really get to see his colors as an artist. As J-hope of bts we get to see the light that he brings but as J-hope the individual we get to see both the light and the darkness that’s within him as an artist without straying too far off from the J-hope we know as army’s. Jack in the box is an incredible album, i literally can’t stop listening to it. Hobi wasn’t just creating an album, he was creating a story. Telling the story of J-hope. I am so proud of J-hope of bts and Jung Hoseok. STREAM JACK IN THE BOX!… Expand

    An amazing and deeply personal album. This album should be listened to from start to finish to fully appreciate the complex and complete storytelling. The lyrics are beautifully put together and each song spends time showing a different perspective on the idea of self, J-Hopes identity, and hope, his self proclaimed namesake.

    I love it! it´s intense, energetic and so well produced. Although he doesn´t show this side of him so much, it´s totally his essence, it reminds me a lot of the vibe of his parts in "Tear". Amazing J-Hope.

    Jack in the Box es un álbum con un concepto interesante y letras introspectivas, los cambios de ritmo y flow de J-hope le dan un toque dinámico y las canciones se complementan entre sí a pesar de mostrar un estilo distinto, manteniendo el concepto del álbum, siento que cualquier amante del rap debería darle una oportunidad, personalmente lo disfruté de principio a fin.

    There’s an excellent three track run from “What if…,” an energetic song that samples Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” into mid-tempo standout “Safety Zone” before a touch of Hope World familiarity returns in the optimistic “Future.”
