    A good album ith some tracks that shows off the new sound that Nick Jonas present with Chainsaw, Under You and Close and a major highlight of the album is The Difference that is just AMAZING.

    This album is excellently produced. Nick Jonas always impresses with his soulful vocals. "Champagne Problems" and "The Difference" are club friendly gems. "Under You" feels like Taylor Swift's hit "Style". There'a a certain kind of feeling in the song "When We Get Home". It's beautiful.

    This is an extraordinary work, because Nick has the biggest potential of all male pop artists. This album is cohosive and every track has it's charm, being my 3 favorite: Chainsaw, Close and Touch. I think the album has much quality and makes Nick seeming like the king of diverses genres: pop, r&b, eletronic, disc, funk, urban, dance and others. I guess it's not good comparing this one toThis is an extraordinary work, because Nick has the biggest potential of all male pop artists.     sicuramente è molto meglio dei "Nick Jonas" . io ho apprezzato molto la versione deluxe con alcune canzoni in più e devo dire che le migliori che sono dentro l'album sono: Voodoo, Touch, Champagne problems, Under You, Good girls e ovviamente Unhinged,
    la canzone che amo di più dell'album.

    Quando ouvi "Close" pela primeira vez (e achei um dos melhores singles de 2016 até agora), logo imaginei que viria um álbum totalmente diferente do "Nick Jonas", mas não foi bem isso que aconteceu...

    Wow. It looks like a lot of "artists" these days don't even try writing lyrics anymore. Every song is about the same subject (guess what?).
    As for the melody. All songs are pretty much the same here too.

    I was rooting for you Nick... all the song sound the same, this is why i just like two song. In my opinion still better than Lovato, and that tour will be lit if you dont sing EVERY SINGLE SONG like you were suffering... god damn, anyway it could be better

    Honestly this album is not really good. Close is fun but the rest is basic. Pretty sad! I expected more! Nick Jonas has potentiel, I wish he would be experimental and open to new sounds

    Consegue ser um albúm bom, mas começa a ser cansativo na faixa 9. muito bom que as faixas ousam na sonoridade cada uma de uma forma.

    Best Songs: Champagne Poblems, Under You e Bacon.

    This just another disappointingly bland, generic pop album that could be made by anyone. Nick Jonas's Voice is pretty mediocre as well.

    I will say there are some decent songs toward the end. But they aren't amazing.

    Overall If you like mainstream pop, buy this. If you want better music, pass on this.

    Last Year Was Complicated é, ao mesmo tempo, uma mudança previsível de sonoridade em relação ao seu trabalho anterior (Nick Jonas) e também uma significante evolução. De uma interessante mistura de R&B e pop dançante para uma sonoridade bem mais pop/eletropop/R&B comercial que, apesar de soar parecido com trabalhos de alguns de seus contemporâneos, consegue se sobressair dos demais devido a uma produção muito bem feita e a presença carismática de Nick. O jovem é dono de uma voz limitada, mas que sabe como utilizar todos as suas qualidades da melhor maneira possível. Ao contrario de alguns jovens cantores, Nick vem crescendo como artista e a prova estão nas suas performances vocais que mostram uma grande versatilidade e domínio. Fortemente influenciado pelos cantores de soul music, Nick consegue usar o famoso falsete sem cair em exageros ou ficar insonso. O uso de efeitos vocais artificiais é usado na voz de Nick e isso é nítido. Felizmente, não é um exagero que possa comprometer a voz de Nick que ainda expressa muita personalidade. A mudança na sonoridade também não compromete, pois a solida e eficiente produção de nomes como Jason Evigan, Mattman & Robin, Max Martin e Shellback consegue tirar apenas as melhores características dessa sonoridade pop comercial e juntar à ideias interessantes e fota da casinha. Esse é o caso do single Closer com a presença de Tove Lo ou a sensual Voodoo. O maior problema de Nick Jonas ainda continua sendo a falta de profundidade das composições, mesmo com uma melhora a olhos vistos em relação ao trabalho anterior. Falta ainda maturidade de vida para que Nick possa colocar nas letras emoções que sejam mais genuínas e, não, esse sentimentalismo de butique ouvidas em faixas como em Bancon que diz, basicamente, que ele prefere comer bacon do que ficar com a amada. Apesar do deslize perdoável já que a canção é divertida, Last Year Was Complicated é, no geral, um trabalho surpreendente bom que ainda conta com momentos inspirados: a dramática Chainsaw, Don't Make Me Choose e a sua batida bem cadenciada e refrão viciante, a boa e contida balada Unhinged e a surpreendente soul/pop That’s What They All Say. Não importa entender os fatores da atual ascensão de Nick Jonas, mas é bom saber que ele veio para ficar para o bem.    … Expand

    One of the best male albums this year. The album is cohesive. You can tell he wasn't following trends to get quick hits like many other artists. The lyrics are deep, meaningful and that's something you can't find easily. I applaud Nick Jonas for this effort and I hope he keeps delivering good music like this.

    Well, this is certainly better than what I was expecting from Nick Jonas, but it's definitely not a standout album to me. This is, for the most part, very anonymous, generic 2016 pop music. The nice thing is that with maybe one or two exceptions, there really aren't any songs that are downright bad, but everything is really so formulaic and similar that I suppose that's not much of a feat.Well, this is certainly better than what I was expecting from Nick Jonas, but it's definitely not a standout album to me. This is, for the most part, very anonymous, generic 2016 pop music. The nice thing is that with maybe one or two exceptions, there really aren't any songs that are downright bad, but everything is really so formulaic and similar that I suppose that's not much of a feat. Interestingly enough, the biggest standout in my opinion is Under You, which is one of two songs on the album Jonas had no part in writing.     Muito bom, perfeito, magnífico, esplendido! Amo Nick Jonas, e ele, sem dúvidas, mandou muito bem nesse novo álbum. A música Voodoo me contagia com o ritmo, e é sem dúvidas a minha favorita.

    Com tudo o que rolava no mundo da música em 2016, Nick Jonas foi e deixou a sua marca lançando um álbum maduro, sexy e com varias músicas sobre relacionamentos

    This is Jonas’ complication: talking his way into, and then through, sexual minefields. The theme suits his peculiar pipes--the jutted-jaw pout, the texture he scratches into his more insistent notes--which, in turn, take the burden from the compositions.
