This atotune heavy trap sub-genre isn't really my thing, but since this is probably the last album that will come out from Juice (that's not a cashgrab from a label), so I gave it a try since it had gotten fairly decent reviews, and I really enjoyed most of its material. Biggest complain I have is that some of the songs feel like they're about the same thing, and it gets a little bit repetitive after a while, Juice's voice gets a little drowzy or even whiny at some parts. The lyrics on this thing is also a little bit mediocre to bad at times. Especially on the song Blood on my Jeans and Tell Me U Love Me. Both seems so unsure of what they are. Blood on my jeans seems like a love song, then he starts talking about his gun, which is a very bad metaphor for a dick in my opinion, also I'm not sure what Bloon on my jeans is supposed to be a metaphor for, and I'm not sure I want to know. Tell Me U Love me was kinda odd as well. Didn't care for the Trippie Redd feature, and the lyrics about him going to kill himself if his girl leaves him are just... bad. Then you have Life's A Mess, which in my opinion is one of the best tracks on the album, the lyrics about love are way more relatable and actually lovely. The Halsey feature is also beautiful. The production on this is for the most part pretty great, blending together classic trap drums with dreamy acoustic instruments. Great listen, do recommend.

A good album, his best, in my opinion. This albums starts strongly, with many songs deserving to be hits later on, and it also shows a more matured version of Juice WRLD, with less mentions to usage of drugs. A lovable album which shows how much future Juice had in front of him.

This album has two faces according to me. The first one is showing a lot of collaborations with artists Juice worked with more or less while alive. These featurings are here to bring more people to listen to 'Legends Never Die': it is all about classic Juice WRLD's lyrics and themes. However I appreciate the effort of Marshmello on 'Come & Go' (which reminds me of his work with Lil Peep onThis album has two faces according to me. The first one is showing a lot of collaborations with artists Juice worked with more or less while alive. However I appreciate the effort of Marshmello on 'Come & Go' (which reminds me of his work with Lil Peep on 'Spotlight' by following the lead artist's influences but also adding his touch) and Halsey on 'Life's A Mess'. These two songs demonstrate the choice taken by the producers to try out original and new themes in Juice's discography. Unfortunately as I said, the other tracks are quite mainstream or flat.

The second part (from track 13 to 22) of the album is far more impressive. No more collaborations here but just Juice WRLD as we love him. The lyrics become less generic, deeper and more accurate to his daily life experience. Again a lot of originality especially in the last song 'Man of the Year' to bring freshness.

In overall cool project but tracks the songs become more and more similar to each other as you listen to them because Juice's voice and tone don't really change in the whole project. I truly hope everybody will let him rest in peace instead of trying to revive him as they are currently doing with XXXTENTACION.

The life and career of Juice WRLD was very short lived with the artist struggle with overcoming mental health and addiction or what refers to as his path. Out of Juice WRLD's three albums, Legends Never Die is my personal favorite. As compared to Death Race for Love and Goodbye & Good Riddance, the tracks on this album move Juice forward as an artist rather than cementing the sound he was known for as the previous two albums did. Thankfully, his record label didn't rush this album as XXXTentacion's did, and this feels well rounded, complete, and something that Jarad would have released by himself, rather than the collection of Garage Band snippets that X's label pushed out. The first third of the album contains much lighter sounds and lyrics that are fairly typical of Juice WRLD's music, with songs such as Righteous and Conversations standing out from the rest of the tracks. The middle third of the album is mostly dedicated to singles, the standouts of which are Life's a Mess and Come & Go, although it also features the most aggressive songs on the album as well, with Hate the Other Side and Tell Me U Luv Me abandoning the dreamy sound that was present on the album up until that point. The final third of the album feels the most experimental, as Up Up & Away and Man of the Year sound very different to anything that Juice released before. The final third also features songs that are what one would expect from a Juice WRLD album. with Wishing Well and Fighting Demons the standout tracks. Breaking up these sections are a haunting collection of interludes where Juice seemingly speaks from beyond the grave, and through the release he constantly drops lyrics that show he knew that taking pills would eventually take his life, however there wasn't anything he could do about it. Throughout Legends Never Die, Juice demonstrates how he grew as an artist before his tragic and untimely passing in December. Unfortunately, he never got the ability to mature even more, and there will probably never be a Juice album demonstrating this level of growth from him again, even if he has thousands of unreleased songs. I rate Legends Never Die an 8/10, and I would give it a higher score if some of the more filler songs such as I Want It and Blood on my Jeans weren't included and were instead replaced with more fitting tracks. Juice WRLD has a long and extensive discography, and the growth present in his sound from the days of All Girls are the Same and Lucid Dreams is staggering. He will go down as an extremely influential artist, and his status will only grow as his record label releases more of his work, provided it is polished and not rushed. Expand

Legends Never Die is honestly one of my favorite rap albums of all time. The production on this project is phenomenal, and Juice WRLD does an absolutely amazing job on the vocals. The instrumentals in this project are very well made, more orchestral than his older, more melodic and trap inspired instrumentals that he mostly used in the past. The features are also picked perfectly, having Halsey of all people as one of the features! As well as the amazing production, the writing on this project is amazing, having Juice talk about his troubles with Drug addiction and Heartbreak. Overall just a really really good project. Expand

Perfect album, contender for best album of the year. Only problem is that some songs don't belong on it, such as: "screw juice" and "blood on my jeans" but they're still really good songs.

LND is the most overrated JW album but its still really good. Conversations, Righteous, Come and Go, Fighting Demons, Life's a mess, Wishing Well, Up Up and Away, and Man of the year are all awesome while the rest of the album is pretty forgettable. The rest isn't bad just forgettable.

El concepto de álbum es muy bueno, es de hecho a mi parecer el mejor disco del artista, su única carencia a mi parecer es que le faltan momentos en los que el disco sobresalte.

Juice Wrld never did cease to give the people a great album with great music. He put his heart and soul into these songs. If things were different and he were here on the earth we would all be putting his name into a discussion for the best 2010 and on rappers.

Songs like “Wishing Well” carry on the things that made him popular — a catchy melody and hook, AutoTuned lyrics, tales of depression and drug use. All of Juice WRLD’s trademarks can be found here.

Legends Never Die is as strong a collection of Juice WRLD songs as any, with already-searing songs made more intense by the shadow of their departed creator looming over the album.

Legends Never Die functions as a goodbye to and from Juice WRLD. His exact wishes for a post-death album might never be known, but this avoids feeling exploitative.
