To describe it as the best Strokes-related work since 2003’s Room On Fire might be damning it with faint praise: better to say simply that this is one of the year’s most easily-overlooked gems.

Spry and spontaneous sounding. [Sep 2015, p.87]

Each song is catchy, and almost invokes that classic "strokes" feeling you get from Is This It and Room on Fire. Fast, guitar licks that will get stuck in your head for hours. Anyway the album is good and although the artist doesn't stand out it is going into my "rainy days" playlist. It has cheer up qualities despite the melancholic vocals.
