    At times “Mothership” can get a little wearying. Part of that comes from the grab-you-by-the-shoulders urgency of the paired vocalists, who can be a bit much even once you’ve bought into their good-guy bad-guy conceit.

Give it time, pay attention, the beauty in complexity of DGD shines through like it always has. Certainly not for everyone, but for those with the right tastes, this is a timeless album with amazing performances and a sound that I just can't get enough of.… Expand

    Can honestly say I’m addicted to this album. I am generally not the biggest punk/rough vocals fan but I’ve been transformed indefinitely. ItCan honestly say I’m addicted to this album. I am generally not the biggest punk/rough vocals fan but I’ve been transformed indefinitely. It could take a few listens before fully appreciating the songs but patience pays off. The guitarist, Will Swan, is a powerhouse throughout and it shows in the first song “Chucky vs. The Giant Tortoise”. There’s only one or two songs on here that I don’t enjoy as much but will still rock out to. Overall, the vocals, production, and instrumental ability of this band truly shows in this album.… Expand
