    There’s no bedroom R&B auteurism, rather the perfectly captured sound of 1979/80--this is a band whose wardrobes must be laden with skinny ties and sneakers. But it’s absolutely fantastic.

    This is an album which very much belongs in 2016, and an expectedly assured debut from a band who are by no means redefining the sound of New York City rock ‘n’ roll, but are laying claim to being worthy flag bearers of it going forward.

    Though Never Enough certainly succeeds in providing classic infectious rock that sidesteps the often formulaic glaze of contemporary pop, above all else, it's just great fun.
