    not sure what kind of style Nickelback has but seeing how poorly rated they are by both audiences and critics its safe to say they dont offer anything worth listening to except a few songs from most of their albums. that being said this one didnt really impress me that much.

    Million Miles An Hour is the kind of dumb, red-cup rock that only very clever people can write, while Get 'Em Up is the best song about erectile dysfunction (we think) ever written. [29 Nov 2014, p.52]

    They're masters of generality, packaging all the bland blue-collar fantasies and unrequited nostalgia of an According to Jim rerun into formulaic head-nodders. The Canadian rockers' latest set is no exception, though they've cast a wider net this time.

    [Chad Kroeger's] shifting his band away from its antiquated post-grunge into a sound that is self-consciously fresher and mature. It's not only a commercially canny move, it generates the best Nickelback record to date.
