  • Summary: Finally making his solo debut, Masta Killa is the last member of the Wu-Tang Clan to issue a CD on his own. Of course, he's not totally by himself here; Ol' Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface and the RZA all guest.

  1. This is a return to the Wu sound; in-house production, more Clan cameos and less material dictated by current trends commercial.
  2. Overall, "No Said Date" is the collective combination of stellar performances across the board.
  3. Masta Killa has delivered one the most urgent, straightforward Wu releases since the group's debut over a decade ago.
  4. His aggressive but nimble flow is all over each of these songs.
  5. Together, “School” and “Silverbacks” make the best Wu-Tang one-two punch that I can recall.
  6. An impressive album in the best tradition of the Clan... Had this album come out in 1998, people might have hailed it as another Wu classic.
Score distribution:

  2. Mixed: 0 out of 3
  3. Negative: 0 out of 3

Outstanding offering from the least known and heavily underrated member of legendary hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan, Masta Killa..

It's not what you were expecting but it's exactly what you wanted, One of the best LP's from the clan this side of the millenium. All creditIt's not what you were expecting but it's exactly what you wanted, One of the best LP's from the clan this side of the millenium. All credit to the Masta, he didn't rush it and flop like certain other Wu members, 7 years in the making.....Totally worth the wait. Expand
