    One of the worst albums ever. Majority of songs sound like they were throwaways of his previous albums and he just compiled them in this album. It seems like he’s losing his vocal ability and the production felt so cheap and it feels like he doesn’t have money to hire producers lmao. Atp he should just retire from music because nobody is really listening.

    honestly this was really poor executed and less thought of album, some tracks like outside, windowsill, tightrope and better are good and can be played more but other tracks are so lame and meh. can't see this album being successful on charts and sales.

Pela primeira impressão, o britânico demonstra que aprendeu o erro com o antecessor e então fez um álbum mais “enxuto”, baseado nas suas experiências pessoas durante a quarentena: namoro de longa data com Gigi Hadid eNobody is Listening é o terceiro álbum solo de Zayn Malik, artista reconhecido pelo alcance vocal em falsettos assim como pela sua personalidade direcionada para o r&b. Pela primeira impressão, o britânico demonstra que aprendeu o erro com o antecessor e então fez um álbum mais “enxuto”, baseado nas suas experiências pessoas durante a quarentena: namoro de longa data com Gigi Hadid e paternidade. Reconhecido por ter uma voz mais suave, o álbum começa com um choque: um poema sobre nostalgia onde o cantor olha pra trás e vê então onde chegou - com uma voz robótica, rimas fracas e um instrumental mal acabado. Em seguida, temos o lead single “better” que é uma das melhores do album justamente pelo instrumental com riffles de guitarra dando uma vibe mais contemporânea, mas a linearidade da música junto da letra acaba a deixando morna. “Outside” e “Vibez” seguem a mesma vibe morgada, e mesmo a primeira tendo Khalid na sua composição, ambas dão a impressão que é uma canção comum de elevador. “When Loves Around” é um destaque legal na tracklist, a voz aveludada de Syd deixa o começo da música bem agradável apesar do instrumental ser mais do mesmo. Ao chegar em “Conexion” acho que perdi um pouco minha audição, o começo já é meio brega com os estralados de dedo à lá Meghan Trainor, mas ao chegar no refrão e ouvir os literais miados desafinados (disfarçados de falsete), fiquei muito decepcionada, até mesmo pela produção que parece inacabada. “Sweat” parece mais uma obra de arte sendo posta após a anterior, a vibe soft rock com a bateria oitentista é bem agradável, mas logo em seguida em **** que fala sobre amizades falsas, o álbum começa a desandar novamente e em “Windowswill” temos um Emo-rap impalatável tanto na melodia básica como na composição, sem falar nas rimas chulas, malfeitas e sem graça do rapper Devlin. “Tightrope” é uma balada bem anos 90 mas ainda bastante esquecível mesmo falando sobre amor espiritual, e por fim a ainda mais esquecível “River Road”. O terceiro álbum é geralmente conhecido pela explosão criativa ou gananciosa de um artista, mas este de Zayn parece mais um aglomerado de canções que apesar de autênticas, não passam do puro suco do R&B que outros artistas estão fazendo no momento - e melhor. A alcunha alternativa ou indie que seus fãs pregam ao vento, pode só justificar os números pifios, mas artistas alternativos prezam pelo primor da sua obra principalmente na produção. As mesmas composições sobre sexo e amor, as mesmas poucas e rasas referências culturais, parcerias apagadas, os vocais robóticos e uma produção péssima são os atributos desse álbum. A obra não consegue ser totalmente coesa justamente pela produção duvidosa, de 17 produtores, não demonstra nenhuma evolução artística já que até mesmo os famosos vocais estão batidos e Zayn decepciona fazendo o Icarus Falls parecer uma obra-prima.… Expand

    Unexpected honestly yet unequivocally still 100% Zayn. I can't stop listening to Outside and Sweat although neither were my favorite upon 1st listen. They said his last album was too long but this one is too short for me- my lone complaint.

    1D fans filled me with comments and dms on Twitter asking to listen to this lad work and here I am. I didn't like the other two albums but Vibez and the Syd collab really got me excited for the album. Another disappointment from a lazy artist. Dumb and lifeless compositions, if no one is listening to him it may be because he has nothing interesting to say by the way his lyrics are so1D fans filled me with comments and dms on Twitter asking to listen to this lad work and here I am.     Must say that Zayn reached the peak of his vocal skills and techniques, his voice is really incredible on the album. Also heard two covers he did in Urdu and wow! It seems like he was born to sing this style of music, maybe he should give up of pop/R&B and move on    … Expand

    Quite basic. He needs to start addressing about much more mature topics other than just the SEX. I really hoped he had showcased more of his vocal skills and talked about fatherhood and other struggles in this album. Also, I don't understand why he wants to be a music artist yet he doesn't want to perform or do anything with the works he is putting out. I understand the anxiety thing butQuite basic.     chato, preguiçoso e sem vida! zayn deixou a desejar 100% nesse álbum, lançou por lançar e você percebe que n ouve nenhum esforço pra fazer músicas com qualidade. apostou no R&B mais genérico possível e nos deu um show de decepções.

    A lazy work full of lazy songs from a lazy artist that doesn't care about his work and promote the music with passion and love. I truly miss the old Zayn from 'Mind of Mine' Era.

    Zayn has a GREAT voice, but every song on this album sounds the same, boring, and he went down the Liam Payne "do your a$$ in the car" route but changed it to windowsill. Sorry but lame.

    There’s no story behind the album. It feels like Zayn doesn’t have anything interesting to say (it’s basically all about s*x) and there’s no progression or anything. And I would like to see zayn experimenting with his voice and sound a little bit more. And the songs are all very similar as well.

    this album almost could've been something. Zayns life has changed drastically from his debut and we hoped that would translate into this record. Instead it is just a formulaic hodge of r&b cliches. They is so obviously a safety net abd no creativity invested in this project it's greatly disappointing. Firstly the opener fekt kike I'd heard it a thousand times,nit in a good way. But likethis album almost could've been something. Zayns life has changed drastically from his debut and we hoped that would translate into this record. Instead it is just a formulaic hodge of r&b cliches. They is so obviously a safety net abd no creativity invested in this project it's greatly disappointing. Firstly the opener fekt kike I'd heard it a thousand times,nit in a good way. But like most songs throughout this compilation if outtakes (lol)they r saved by the sleek production and calculated chorus. His vocals are as great as ever especially in the highlight "tightrope " .     Disappointing album. Most of the songs are about sex and Zayn appears to have lost his top range. In songs like Tightrope he is screeching and on others you can hear him catching his breath between lines.

    Nobody Is Listening doubles down on this expertly cultivated, look-but-don’t-touch, this-far-and-no-further brand. The good news is that, as an artist, Zayn keeps refining. The songwriters may be many here, but the songs suit him more and more.
