seems like I'm in minor, but this album I liked less then others. Only Cinnamon Girl and Doin' time are songs that I liked.

Some good songs but it gets hard to listen because of how slow it feels. A bit overrated.

doin time é a melhor. algumas músicas muito longas e outras repetitivas que parecem até serem a mesma. faltou mais produção.

Al álbum le hace falta mas ritmo y arte, por eso solo le daré un 4, esperaba más de Lana

I’m a really big fan of Lana del rey, and I really do think that she’s so underrated but.. this album is just not it for me. It’s coherent but too repetitiv. I really loved doin’ time, Cinammon Girl. The best song on the album for me is « the next best american record »
I still love you Lana, but it just ain’t for me.

Nice overall just as a plastic object can be nice. For the rest, who is she singing for? What is she singing about? How many heartbreaks and new relationships, how selfish and narcissistic this whole pop shot is becoming. There's only one step left from submissive intellectual boredom. She says kanye's gone and critics are raving... wft! What is your problem with kanye? I just don't getNice overall just as a plastic object can be nice. For the rest, who is she singing for? Easily her worst album yet. There is no flow through the album, and no power or oomph to even one or two songs. It's such a shame, because the wait for this album since it was first announced was a very long time of suspense just for nothing.

Very mediocre and borderline boring. I’ve always liked Lana but this is not it. She gets the 4 only for the lyrical content because that is always on point.

Lana out does herself with every album release. A modern day poet. Love this one dearly.

It could be my first time ever when i disagree with most of opinions about any of her albums. Quite overrated work. Repetitive with not much of original ideas. Seeing such rave reviews surprises me a lot. Is there a mass hysteria/conspiracy or i am somehow lost?

Doin Time is my favorite. I still wish old Lana would come back. I really miss the Summertime Sadness times, more catchy songs would be good once again.

Lizzy Grant makes pretty much the same album for the third time, but adds extra cuss words because, um, that means artistic progression? I'd wait for the drugs to finally wear off, but it's all an act, people, and it's so stagnant I can smell it through the screen.

Norman **** Rockwell is the definition of a bland Lana Del Rey Album, same old tired vocals and melodies, some tracks like Venice **** that had a runtime over than 9 minutes were a drag i didn't understand what she was saying what so ever. the way she sings makes it so hard to understand... even Jack Antonoff couldn't save this record

This is bland and cliche but i like the two first tracks i guess. the theme of the songs are a little too mature for my taste and maybe Lana should find more inspiration to write about than just cursing for 3 minute straights?

it's the most boring Lana del Rey album, with less than half of the album really good. I thought Honeymoon would be his worst album for the rest of his career, but Norman Fuking Rockwell came to take that throne away.

This album isn't a flop, but it is totally different from the first five albums and Lana's lyrics are quite good, but not memorable to my ears. which is very different from past songs. I wonder if her style is changing permanently or this is just a phase? I hope album #7 has more distinct (powerful) songs so they don't all blend together. I wouldn't mind her singing a few country songs like "hey baby blue" & "stupid for being so happy". Expand

The singles she put out were awesome but all other songs feel like fillers for the album. HTD sounds like christmas song, production is terrible on that one. I still don't know if it's a problem but Lana always sounds the same.I listened to all songs of the album and yes,we have masterpieces like Marines Apartment Complex and Love Song but at the end I felt like I was listening to the same song on repeat. The album is far from a bad job but Lana needs to evolve.

Beats on a singular tone the entire time, centering on themes that sound less like tragedy and more like self-fulfilling prophecy. She drops American buzzwords like its her day job. The cussing is novel, but also crude and ham fisted.

Been a fan for 6 years but this was the final straw. The vocals were flat, sounding more like talking than the great harmonies she normally produces. Lyrically, it was pretty weak too. I hated the piece about Kany West, as if his political beliefs are any of her business. I get she's being more politically aware & open but for me, it was poorly executed. Sounds more whiny than anything.Been a fan for 6 years but this was the final straw. The vocals were flat, sounding more like talking than the great harmonies she normally produces. Cinnamon girl, somehow the most loved song on the whole album, was horribly repetitive, waste of potential. F*ck it I Love You had a cute message but the vocals made it sound lame. The best song is California, at least there I can feel the emotion, and see the story which was lacking throughout the album. Not her best & whoever thinks so is a butt kisser. Expand

It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.

A thematically rich record, heavy on mood and elegantly written in a way that positions Del Rey between Eve Babitz and Carole King. There are beguiling and evolving melodies underneath the spare piano and acoustic arrangements. [Nov 2019, p.24]
