    Been a fan since her debut. Experienced her growth in time and still she has a different game than other singers/artists. She has this unique music in her and she keeps doin it right all the time.

    One of my favorites on the album are Venice **** California and Bartender. Loved the way she put Bartender and HIAB back to back cause i think they are lyrically flowing.     She’s singing about the same golden days in California with a more confident and brave attitude. She’s not afraid to address the problems and face them. Jack Antonoff did a good job as always. Overall I love this album!

For an artist with a distinct writing style and sound, all of her albums have been different sonic journeys. 'NFR' is her greatest album because you can hear all her previous records influencing this one, and yet it is utterly distinct. Venice **** has got to be her magnum opus for sure, with its enormous length and audacious instrumental half way through. I’ve already listened to it seven times in the past day and I’m going to go ahead and say that it will be my favorite album of the year!! Go listen now!… Expand

    The cover is beautiful and so original I can feel a strong summer breeze in california. The album reminds me shows me a firm and solid Lana with the career, this is amazing. Some songs remind me of the Brazilian style 'Samba-Cança'. This is one of the best releases of the year without a doubt. It's Contemporary, it's natural, it's melancholy, it's hopeful. Her comeback album after Lust For Life, she has delivered a beautiful a no cohesive album, full of beachy and surfy songs one can easily enjoy. Her writing skills show through the entire album, it’s a very California album, as well as mood album, it’s genuine, authentic, she’s back to her roots yet maintaining the changes she has showed over the past years.     Amazing album. Her best work since Ultraviolence! Highlights include: bartender happiness is a butterfly and the title track. No one does it quite like her. She is an unmatched force in pop music .

    It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.
