Oct 6, 2017Cults give more of themselves on these songs than ever before, and opening themselves to more possibilities pays off with some of their most exciting music.
-
Oct 12, 2017Offering is also Cults’ finest work to date. At their best, they offer a hymn to the inexhaustible spirit of hope; at the very least, they have proven they can survive the whims of an increasingly fickle market.

Oct 6, 2017There's plenty of fun to be had here, even if it can't help not quite measuring up to past hype.
-
Nov 14, 2017With its sweet, dream-pop sound, Offering is an immediately likable record that is enjoyable on first listen. I think I've found my new guilty pleasure.
-
Oct 6, 2017Offering’s second half becomes a stoned and fuzzy blur, its overall high settling into a pleasurable yet indistinct haze.
-
Oct 16, 2017The songs on Offering are fuller and brighter than they’ve ever been, leaving behind sinister samples and moribund imagery and making good on the promise of uptempo revelry that “Go Outside” offered.
-
Q MagazineOct 6, 2017An intoxicating approximation of Beach House's gauzy atmospherics. They replicate them skillfully enough but you can't help feeling they're ultimately trying to move into a space that's already taken. [Nov 2017, p.107]
