Every song on this album is strong, starting from the compelling opener, “Satellite,” which firmly establishes the return to the classic Get Up Kids style which is as strong of an opener as “Holiday” or “Man of Conviction.”

The Get Up Kids have a talent for writing catchy and infectious hooks and choruses and it's what has kept them on the map for over two decades. Both old and newer fans will find songs they enjoy and hopefully never stop listening to on Problems.

    A welcome and overdue return. [18 May 2019, p.55]

It's a familiar, though still firm, return.

Unlike Kicker, which worked as a short, sharp blast to remind people the Kids were still around, Problems is the sound of the band figuring out how they want to sound in their new incarnation and pretty much nailing it.

Problems is an altogether solid enough and enjoyable listen, it merely fails to push beyond being an impression of the band's former glories.

Putting a short review out because nobody has done one yet. Solid Album, have found myself listening to it often.
