    Has a few enjoyable songs (Cry for me, My oh my, Liar), but most of them are forgettable at best. Señorita should have been left out, but I understand why she would include it.

    Camila’s second album is an enjoyable fatigue pop. Though I would like to raise the score to 5 if it’s turned off, it’s no exception to any other unworthy albums out there. Everything feels rushed. Unlike Camila, there’s no delicate vulnerable emotion and only focused as theme songs for fake inauthentic relationship. Using saccharine approach to Latin pop in English, what could be worseCamila’s second album is an enjoyable fatigue pop. Señorita the only hit is decent but after that the album is lacking any hard hitters on the charts or artistically, showing her weakness as a solo artist. If Señorita hadn’t proceeded this album and the publicity stunt that is “shawnmilla” or whatever this album would be a flop on levels that hadn’t been seen for a star that had previously had such a huge song (Havana). Señorita reeks of a one hit wonder doing everything they can to stay on, and it worked... but how long can it work? This album indicates that not much longer probably. Overall romance is a lackluster, boring and bland pop album that goes no where. And just proves what I’ve thought of Camila for such a long time, she’s a discount pop star.… Expand

    This girl can't sing, point blank period. Senorita sounds better with just shawn, my oh my is a copy of havana which is a copy of same old love. Living Proof is the worst song of the decade. Cry for Me is a total Marina rip off. Justice to all the other fifth harmony girls who can actually sing and deserve this career that Camila somehow got.

    this album is trash. so generic. she could’ve done so much more with the concept. i genuinely like the idea of it. i guess i was just disappointed bc i expected her to make it like a story of falling in love, like a concept album. it just comes off as lazy and uninspired. and she ripped off other artists. the writing is **** only good song is senorita.

    Ok, this album is disappointing. Her first album was average, but this one is terrible. In addition to having many samples, I identified at least four songs with samples, was placed very autotune. Some lyrics are too childish, in others she seems to want to get out of the "little girl" figure but ends up doing it as forced. Anyway, mediocre.

    Very disappointed with this album not gonna lie. Shameless was really the only good song, I’ll give it another listen or two but honestly it’s a very unremarkable piece of work. And there’s parts of it that sound like Kali Uchis and Bebe Rexha/Louis Tomlinson. She can do better.

    many of the melodies were copied/stole eg. liar- karma by marina, this love - figures by jessie reyez, as well as cry for me and bad kind of butterflies which were heavily ‘inspired’ by marina. she copied her promo and merch from halsey too and for someone who left fifth harmony due to ‘a lack of creative control’ she sure doesn’t have a lot of creativity.

Despite songs as This Love, Easy and Shameless that were well written and produced (but Cabello's high, weak and breathy vocals kinda ruined it), this album it's just another pop album -but worse.     Throughout “Romance,” the pop machinery clicks cleverly and efficiently into place around Cabello’s voice. The productions tend to be sparse — spooky electronic sounds, an occasional acoustic or electric guitar, hefty but discreet drums — and even where the choruses ratchet up, Cabello’s voice often stays close and confiding.
