Nov 19, 2015This album disappointed me when I was listening to at first time. But,later, I enjoyed this thing .I am listening to some songs from their new record now and i love it .
They changed their style into Heavy-metal but with some influence of metalcore sound.
This album is not the best in their discography but you must pay attention to this record, I think. -
Oct 29, 2015Группа решила взяться за Хэви, но при Металкоровском укладе мелодий. Получилось очень серо и ничего не смогло врезаться надолго. Проходняк.

Oct 14, 2015Trivium finally found the sound they've been looking for since "Shogun", "Silence in the Snow" comes carrying all the great influences of past albums with a touch of intense true Metal and better sounding vocal lines than ever. If you never heard a Trivium album, this is the right time to go for it and if you already know Trivium, you will know that this album is one of their best to happen.

Jan 25, 2016What an album again a brilliant release from Trivium songs such as Silence in the Snow and Dead and Gone are personally favourite constantly listened to it when it was released. My second favourite album of 2015 behind Disturbed's Immortalized.

Aug 9, 2018Consistence is present on whole album. The band doesn't sounds with caress of identity without Heafy's screams, opposite of it, this fact adds a fresh and more melodic tone to the album, further that here Trivium selected good elements from classic metal just like Sabbath, Accept, shwedish melodic death metal and Dio's melodic sense, but even so sounding modern, clean, accessible and nice.

Nov 2, 2015Silence in the Snow resolutely satisfies the diehard fan, while at the same time nothing terribly brilliant materializes from that new trick up their sleeve, either.

Alternative PressOct 6, 2015The Florida foursome still manage to top themselves with each outing. [Nov 2015, p.96]

Oct 6, 2015Every other record in their catalog hinted at their further development as a metal unit; this one doesn't. Trivium are using the building blocks of metal to pursue a wider, more nuanced, musical direction.
