  1. Singer Ian Watkins has Mike Patton's croon/scream down cold, and his group deftly applies FNM's anything-goes approach: equal parts thrash riffs, symphonic keyboards and moody jazz intervals.
  2. While the record lacks any of [Queens of the Stone Age's] belligerent twisted rock weirdness they have definitely pumped up the Good Charlotte-style teen anthem choruses.

This is a perplexing album: two excellent singles, a few stellar moments of vicious riffage, but little to assuage that lingering sense of emptiness.
  4. On the whole, Lostprophets seem a bit lost on this average at best offering.

Masterpiece. A great opener sets you off on a journey of 13 absolute classics. The kind of album where every song is great and it is only aMasterpiece. A great opener sets you off on a journey of 13 absolute classics. The kind of album where every song is great and it is only a shame that they never managed to release more, from what I am calling, the best Lostprophets album to date. Songs like "A Million Miles" and "Burn Burn" make this album a true masterpiece. Full Review »
