    The Hamilton Mixtape has managed to drain away the edge and danger from a Broadway show, a curious inversion and just more proof that you can’t Xerox Miranda’s inimitable work.

    I love Hamilton the original cast recording. It's been played to death by my entire family. So I had high hopes of hearing remakes of myI love Hamilton the original cast recording. It's been played to death by my entire family. So I had high hopes of hearing remakes of my favourite songs. Instead the vast majority of tracks on this mixtape mess is just awful, full of all the trappings of modern hip-hop/R&B/pop, with terrible, tuned singers, dense distorted arrangements, and rappers who seem to think that rapping is about no more than just offloading their testosterone. It's not all bad, but I've deducted two stars for the insult to the original.… Full Review »
