The Home Inside My Head cements Real Friends' place as new-school pop punk's lead dogs. [Jun 2016, p.102]

There may be fewer hooks and a lack of a real fist-in-the-air anthem, but on The Home Inside My Head, these sad boys become men. Gracefully.

While it isn't a far cry from Real Friend's first album, it still delivers an emotional punch with a hopeful glimpse of what's to come.

While The Home Inside My Head is by no means the band's magnum opus or a step forward for pop punk as a whole, it's definitely a worthwhile listen for fans of the band and genre.

Like maybe besides Colder Quicker or Eastwick, there is no real hit on this album and there were plenty on the two previous albums. Their worst album, but they mostly kept their style and the album is fun in parts. There is not much to say about this type of music anyway and i didn't expect that they will do a second "I've Given Up On You", because the gerne just does not make it easy to do something like that.
