Beyoncé's voice is amazing in itself. The curating and mixing work of interlude and tracks has enriched the album, and we have songs that inspire us to look at African culture. No words to describe the exciting bigger.

The Lion King: The Gift is a soundtrack album unlike any other. It is a masterfully crafted auditorial experience that is, quite fittingly, a gift to Africa. It has countless interwoven narrative and musical themes with many layers to unpack, all soaked fresh within the bounds of the Lion King universe.

''The Lion King: The Gift" is really an album that takes me elsewhere. Whenever I listen, the vocals of Beyoncé and her partners together with the sonority present in the songs, take me to the most beautiful African savannah and make me dance, cry and reflect with all the fight against racism and black power imposed on the album.
Thank you Beyoncé for bringing one of the best sounds of

Incredible. The way she seamlessly mixed the lion king’s storyline with her own life struggles was inspired. The album is so cohesive. Loving the authenticity of the afrobeats artists, who were all amazing too. Brown Skin Girl is an instant classic.

A cohesive, powerful and innovative album.
Not only manages to sound truly like a "Beyoncé" album (her pen and mind is all over it), but it manages to authentically fit into the Afrobeat genre and in The Lion King's narrative, painting pictures of the film just by listening to it.

This is one of the best albums I've ever heard so far! I don't know what those critics have been drinking, but the songs are fresh, almost flawlessly produced, colorful, contagious, meaningful and sometimes very emotional. Beyoncé proves she doesn't need to gimmick an album to visuals to make it good. The Gift is the album that proves that beyoncé know how to balance the pop production from Africa, embrancing it and empowering it without making it a gimmick or an allegory.

Amei cada uma das músicas. O álbum soa como algo novo, porém conectado com o filme pelas interludes e pelo ritmo das canções. Lembra também os últimos trabalhos de Beyoncé como Homecoming ou The Carters. Nota 10.

A beautiful compilation album. Beyoncé is truly amazing while allowing other, lesser known artists to have their shine and limelight too. Has brought my attention to some African artists I had never heard of. Fantastic

Ultimately, The Gift is a deft balancing act that weighs personal songwriting flourishes and meaning with Disneycore tropes, as well as a sincere desire to celebrate the music of the African diaspora with its fundamentally commercial obligations.

On The Lion King: The Gift, Beyoncé deftly connects a kid's flick to something bigger, honoring not only Africa and its traditions but also shifting perspective to future destiny and greatness. It's a superior statement and a lesson on how to properly execute a winning soundtrack.
