    Lana Del Rey's sophomore album 'Ultraviolence' is her darkest piece of work yet, but that doesn't mean it isn't beautiful. This album isn't for the faint of heart, but listeners won't be disappointed. Lana Del Rey provides more lyrical perfection, but the production is much different from her first two projects. I certainly enjoyed listening to this album, but I do not believe that itLana Del Rey's sophomore album 'Ultraviolence' is her darkest piece of work yet, but that doesn't mean it isn't beautiful. This album isn't for the faint of heart, but listeners won't be disappointed. Lana Del Rey provides more lyrical perfection, but the production is much different from her first two projects. I certainly enjoyed listening to this album, but I do not believe that it compares to her debut album. Nevertheless, the album is another win for the singer.

    This is one of those transcendental experiences you don't often find. The most depressing and melancholic album from Lana, it leaves you with an impression you won't find anything quite like it. While it plays, it creates a void inside your chest: it strips you out of reality only to immediatelly fill you with its slow-born melancholy and her angelic voice.     this album deserves so much more. the music industry has been sleeping on her music and criticizing her for no reason. what she has done with this album is pure just pure heart and leaves you speechless every time!!!

    'Ultraviolence' is spectacular and brought Lana to a higher level of artistry and lyricism, but not perfect at all. She experiments different musical genres and confirms that she can sing in any genre and still do it perfectly. Ultraviolence still has some few negative points, but it definitely is one of the best works from Del Rey.

    Uma verdadeira viagem Californiana. Do início ao fim o álbum surpreende com faixas arrebatadoras e lindas, uma verdadeira obra de arte com misturas do rock e o soft. Del Rey sabe muito bem como escrever músicas memoráveis e esse álbum demonstra muito bem a ideia de o quão talentosa ela consegue ser!

    This is still Lana's magnum opus to me, 3 albums later. Not only is recording live rare nowadays, but Lana has just this vibe and persona in this album that makes you feel like you're actually the fictional woman whose eyes we see through.

    Lana has stepped her game up with this album. Adding a blues rock feel to her otherwise poppy synth style is the perfect blend. There are still problems with her identity but a huge step in the right direction.

    Lana's second album has songs that I personally love such as West Coast, but most of the other tracks are very somber and subdued. For some, this is a good thing. But for me, this really isn't something that I see in her. While I like some specific songs, the overall album isn't something I would want to listen to again.

    Ultraviolence is THAT album. Definitely her best work yet, deserved waaaay more recognition. Old Money is a masterpiece, one of the few songs that can make me cry! But my favorite song of the album is the title track, just the instrumental is enough...

    Though Ultraviolence seems to about a character condoning the abusive nature of her relationships because her men are complex, it is probably the best produced and written record of Del Rey's career. Alongside Del Rey's vocal acrobatics and prowess, the vibe of this album is incomparable and unfathomable by words. Moreover, her lyricism in this album is myMy favorite album by Lana Del Rey.     The guitars on Ultraviolence fit so well. Cruel World is an amazing opening track. Lana's voice is real and emotional. Though the best track without a doubt would be Shades of Cool - one of the best tracks I have probably heard in my life. The instrumental, the vocals, omg.

    Her best album in my opinion. Really shows off her talent with her amazing vocals after hearing born to die I didn’t think any Lana project could beat it till I heard this masterpiece. Even after hearing honeymoon and lust for life, nothing can live up to this masterpiece of an album ultraviolence. Thank you Lana

    I'm not so sure why metascore of this album is only 74 , for me this or Lust For Life is the best Lana's album to date. Love the lyrics, the darkness of the album. Favorite tracks: Brooklyn Baby | Least favorite: The Other Women (it just didn't fit the album atmosphere it should have been on Honeymoon I think)

    This album is incredible and timeless. Unlike everything that Lana Del Rey has done, she explores her vocals very well throughout the album, and her instrumental pieces are very well produced, highlighting sounds of guitars and drums. This is THE TRUE MILLENNIUM ALBUM!

    Ultraviolence is full of rock, sadness and darkness and this is what makes it such a deep and meaningful album. Lana's soul was put into this album and you can just tell how she was feeling when writing this. Beautiful and methodical, such a masterpiece.

    Tiene muchas cosas buenas, pero equipara muchas malas. Mientras hay tracks hermosos como 'Old Money' y 'Ultraviolence' y el incluido en el deluxe 'Florida Kilos' y es un álbum cohesivo, suave y estético, muchas canciones son demasiado similares o con el mismo gusto dramático de Lana.

    Everything that was negative in 'Born To Die', Lana Del Rey turned into brilliant in the new work. Sinking in a desert rock tone with melancholic vocals, 'Ultraviolence' is the best material of 2014, possibly the best of the decade.

    Ultraviolence is a very interesting evolution. The roots inspirations are mixed with pop music and rock music. It's greatly produced, really grainy and sometimes almost lo-fi, a real sensual pleasure. The only point I don't like is that some songs don't fit the rest of the album, like Old Money for example, it's a very charming song, but its production is way cleaner than the rest of the record.

    Ultraviolence shines as an album with more maturity than its 2 predecessors. But still, shows an artist that has a lot to grow. Ultraviolence works more efficietly as a contrast to her debut Born to Die than a follow up. Anyway, here is where we see Lana - actually, Lizzy Grant - in her most confortable and sincere record yet.

    Um álbum minimalista. O que mais atrai em todo álbum é como ele soa. A forma minimalista e a produção com guitarras e baterias casa perfeitamente com a proposta do Ultraviolence. Lana sempre acerta em suas letras, porém o que chama a atenção são todos os arranjos perfeitamente elaborados.

Lana del Rey e Dan são uma ótima combinação, a melancolia natural de Lana del Rey continua desde seu debut sob novo nome porém com o rock psicodélico de Dan, oque poderia dar errado?

    It's a step forward, so much better than Born to Die. Ultraviolence has a dark atmosphere, where her soft voice contrasts with the rough instrumentals. The best tracks are "Ultraviolence" and "The Other Woman", I definitely loved these. In fact, all tracks are pretty good, except for "Pretty When You Cry" and **** My Way Up to the Top", which I really don't like.

    She knows what She wants, Lana look for it, chase for it and make it happen. Ultraviolence is the top of Lanas maturity, vocal and musically. Also, I believe She decided to explore her dark sides for this album. For many people, this is the most boring album Lana have done; To me, it is a real deep and exquisite work of art.

    Pensei que nada pudesse superar o BTD, mas taí que o Ultra veio e me deixou no chão. O sentimento dese album te leva pro céu e pro inferno numa mesma jornada, arrasou, Diva! Merecia um 80, ao menos.

    This album is a masterpiece. One that really takes you somewhere, and perhaps the best i have ever had the privilege of hearing. Lana delivers hypnotic, feisty and extremely sad lyrics that i found very relatable. She managed to get some emotions out of me, and music that can do that is good music indeed. I love this album and I thank Lana for creating it. Favourite songs for me are PrettyThis album is a masterpiece. One that really takes you somewhere, and perhaps the best i have ever had the privilege of hearing. Lana delivers hypnotic, feisty and extremely sad lyrics that i found very relatable.     Ultraviolence is by far the personal life of Lana expressed in lyrics. Great sound, genius lyrics and incredible instrumentals (the guitar solo was so perfect in "Shades Of Cool"). Now, with the ''Honeymoon'', Lana keeps your essence!

    For some reason, I feel like this is Lana's weakest effort. Don't get me wrong, there are some really good songs on this album, but as a whole, I found myself bored and despite her "new" sound, found Ultraviolence a disappointment.

    A dark and cinematic masterpiece. This is truly Lana's best album with standout tracks like Shades of Cool, Brooklyn Baby, West Coast, Florida Kilos, etc. I highly recommend a listen if you're into songs with substance that give off an indie rock 70's vibe.

    Uno de sus mejores trabajos hasta ahora, ese Dream Pop Alternativo acompañado de las guitarras pesadas es lo que hace a Ultraviolence el trabajo con la mayor influencia de la música Alternativa de Del Rey, cada canción tiene ese toque de Rock Alterno que te embriaga y te hace pedir más; Lana destaca también sus influencias del Jazz y el estilo Gangsta.
