Sometimes their vocal melodies aren’t particularly strong. Yet those songs seem to be written to have the vocals at their center. Instead, they end up as tracks with really solid rhythmic backing, interesting guitar playing, and a sort of void where the song’s primary focus should be. The good moments here are worth lauding, but the trio could use a few more of them.

Anti-glory and Billy start and end the 12 song effort and this is one of the more enjoyable albums of the year so far. Very, very cool stuff. High marks. Full Review »

A debut from a Chicago trio of women who know how to play their instruments well, and with a determined focus on setting the world on fire.A debut from a Chicago trio of women who know how to play their instruments well, and with a determined focus on setting the world on fire. Give me more please! Great punk rock, indie, noise rock, whatever Sonic Youth or Pixies comparison you want to throw at them, they are a treat to my ears and can't wait for a second and third album to see further growth to knock my socks off again. Move over CarSeat Headrest.... there is a new indie darling in town. Great tight live show in Vancouver last night! Give this a listen! Full Review »
