Unimaginative, unoriginal and lacking in real quality as always. Yet, if you're looking for a good riff (and good riff only), Wolfmother is a pretty good choice.

As usual, Stockdale rips off EVERYBODY! The riffs are cool, and the production is pleasing, but the lyrics are banal. "The Love That You Give" is a banging opener, but things are pretty much downhill from there. Good for a listen or two before heading back to some Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath.

Its just classic Wolfmother, which is pretty average music for me. Maybe a bit weaker cause compared to the earlier albums its a bit more in the back less and less in your face, supported by the appearance of songs like Pretty Peggy. So yeah, not much to say, dont hate it, dont love it, just middle of the road. Nice to put on once in a while.

Victorious is premium Wolfmother in places, and pretty much abominable in others.

The overall impression is of vintage music given a modern snap and kept short and simple for maximum effect.

It’s all too nice, too safe, and ultimately, too predictable.
