Critic score distribution:
  1. Positive: 2 out of 4
  2. Negative: 0 out of 4
  1. They are exuberantly naughty and flouncy and beastly and flimsy, and this is fine: it’s a fun album.
  2. If You Love You is any indication, Semi Precious Weapons have plenty of pretty, dirty rock & roll to go around.
  3. It's best when you don't think too much about it, and just let the zipper-down power chords, double (barrel) entendres, and painted-on decadence wash over you. They go down easily, with a "that's what she said" smirk on their face. But drink up before it loses its effervescent charms.
  4. Imagine Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters fronting a band that sounds like a rowdier, wilder version of Hole and that would be Semi Precious Weapons in a large metal-spiked nutshell.
