Nov 13, 2021Amazing as always!
I love albums that tell a story and this is one of my favourites. His voice is great and the Production is really retro and Varied. -
Jan 17, 2022Whilst this is the first album I've listened to in full by The Weeknd, it definitely did not disappoint. It gives off a very 80s vibe, especially with all the electropop and synthpop included. My personal favourites were 'Hardest To Love', and 'In Your Eyes'. It's a great record!

Dec 27, 2022After Hours remains as one of the defining albums of 2020. Loaded with party tunes and heartbreak anthems, After Hours reemphasised The Weeknd's starboy status.

The WireApr 28, 2020The production is flawless. ... But the obvious big tunes fall flat.
-
Q MagazineApr 7, 2020Spidery tendrils of sex-and-drugs-related dread curl around dramatic synth-pop and twinkling R&B, Yet there's also a batch of tracks that draw from bombastic, slightly tacky '80s pop - a warm, funny and wholly welcome diversion from the stylish but sterile bleakness that remains Tesfaye's calling card.
