It channels the feeling of dancing all night to your favourite DJ in your favourite club, with an evening's worth of twists, turns, surprises and delights, packed into an 80-minute set that is as much of an artistic statement as any of Seaton's excellent records.

There is a lot going on, but it never feels overstuffed or claustrophobic. Overall, it is a distinctive and enjoyable addition to the Fabric series.

With such a wealth of exposure in his musical upbringing, it's no surprise that this mix boasts the instrumental range that it does, not to mention such a precise and intuitively executed pace.

Seaton, as Call Super, invokes Peel’s memory on Fabric 92--if not in sound, then in the personal nature and spirit that percolates throughout.

His mixing is never ostentatious, but it generally emphasizes action. It’s rare that a song is left to play out unaccompanied; far more often, he’s got two and even three tracks running in parallel, resulting in a dynamic, shape-shifting fusion that’s far more than the sum of its parts.
