Fan of a Fan reads like a mimicking of that, missing a key ingredient in the Pop-Rap alchemy it takes to create something truly ingenius and infectious.

Chris Brown and Tyga have given fans what they wanted, but with an abundance of turn-up tracks, the album fails to tackle more serious topics, as the duo has in the past on “Deuces.” It’s a wonder why they avoided the prior formula this go round.

Ultimately, this is likely to satisfy only the most devout sects of Brown's and Tyga's fan bases.

Fan of a Fan has its share of low-end R&B bangers.

Overwrought with rap cliches, Fan of a Fan is a formulaic heaping of bouncy bangers primed for the strip clubs that likely inspired it. There isn't much here, besides expletive-filled musings on sex, drugs, cars, money and dangerous misogyny.

The songs lack diversity, quality lyrics, and exciting beats, leaving the listener wondering when it'll all be over with. Not only is this album a low quality compilation of songs that do not have any meaningful substance to them, but they aren't even enjoyable to listen to at all. Try again guys. Full Review »

Unapologetically shallow, which is fine of course if the tracks are good, but for the most part, they aren't. Ayo's fun. But I wouldn't bother with this one. Full Review »

Chilled summer anthem 'Westside' to club banger 'Banjo', the album is filled with tracks about partying, sex and hustling in the club. OverallChilled summer anthem 'Westside' to club banger 'Banjo', the album is filled with tracks about partying, sex and hustling in the club. Overall its a very decent album and I would score it 8 because although the tracks are club bangers, there was not any real depth in the album which is where it lost a few points. Full Review »
