Even if she never released this album, the world would still have recognized her as one of the greatest songwriters of our time, but what ‘folklore’ does is cement Taylor into an even higher status as a writer and leaves no questions as to why she’s regarded as this century’s greatest storyteller.     I'm genuinely so blown away. I was really nervous that she was changing her sound, but this is everything. It's soft but powerful. The lyrics and production are somehow so new for her but also right on brand. I really hope people give this album the recognition it deserves. Amazing to think she wrote and recorded this in 3 months during quarantine. Wow.

The way she perceives life and navigates through it, sharing all her experiences she's had since the start of her career till date poetically through the perspective of the fictitious characters she has created is commendable. The way she captured her raw emotions and painted it on the canvas embellished with beautifully crafted songwriting accompanied with minimalist acoustically driven music and really simple yet refined, passionate and mature vocals is transcendental. She yet again proved to us that is undoubtedly one of the greatest lyricist of our generation. This album is one of the most cohesive piece of art she's ever created. It takes you on a journey to a whole new dimension and in the end, it ends on a good note, it's the retelling of forgotten tales, the sadness and pain of heartbreak, the happy and more authentic or in other words realistic side of love, it's everything wrapped in this delicate paper covered in sparkles. It cleanses your soul. And as Pericles had said, "what you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others."     It's Taylor Swift's best album, if not the best of the year. Through her compositions, she tells a love story between young people, which possibly reflects on her previous relationships. In a genuinely pure and sincere way. This is the most cohesive and mature album of Miss Americana. Taylor was the artist of the past decade and has a good chance of being this decade as well.

    Folklore es un álbum con letras muy profundas, probablemente en algún punto conectas con cada una de las canciones. El sonido es muy personal de Taylor, parece algo que ella realmente amó hacer, algunas canciones te transportan un poco a sus primeros álbumes, pero con algo nuevo y fresco. En general es un álbum diferente al resto y con melodías que logran dar un sentimiento relajante.

    Amazing! Taylor is brilliant and this album is ons of the best she ever done! I think it is a strong contender for the AOTY on Grammys 2021, along with After Hours, Future Nostalgia and Rare!

    The album is a MASTERPIECE This album is very good. every music in this album really has lyrics that are full of deep meaning. Moreover, Taylor Swift wrote this album herself in about 3 months. I really like this album. This album deserves an award.

    Definitely Taylor’s best album to date. The song writing is amazing. I didn’t know what to expect going in, but wow, this blew me a way, it seems like she can conquer any genre. While her two most recent albums Reputation and Lover weren’t amazing, this one was. Thanks Taylor!

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
