    Beautiful album, so many emotions and stories!! Very well written and sonically it is perfect. Taylor really stepped up her game. Alt album in 2020 is PERFECT choice. She nailed this one. It is def gonna become a classic. It has timeless feeling and quality. Story telling in this album is beyond amazing. Congrats!

    A beautiful album in which swift experiments with a new sound, stepping away from pop and towards a new alternative sound, and it totally pays off. The songwriting throughout the whole album is stunning and so impressive, possibly her best. There isn’t one song I don’t love, my highlights are Illicit Affairs, Betty and August

    She finally radiates the growth we all expected from her. Hands down her most mature work. Lyrically above Red I would say even, which for me, personally, was the epitome of metaphors and words.

    Beautifully produced, Taylor surprise us with a fresh sound, pretty different from her other works. The features were very well thought, their voices complemented each other. And the instruments are just fantastic! You can hear different instruments making different sounds in multiple levels of density, producing a perfect sound! Taylor outdid herself!

    Probably Taylor Swift's best album to date.....Personally I think the songwriting is still not that great, but it's better than her previous work in that regard. I'm not the demographic she is trying to appeal to so maybe it works better for other people.

    I don't think it is album of the year. Few of these songs are going to last in the public conscience. But it's certainly decent.....

    This is one of her best yet! Taylor has the talent to go from one genre to another and nail it every time. The mastering is incredible and the storytelling is stunning. That is one perfectly cohesive album.

    I like the simplicity of the music. I really felt her passion towards her singing in every poetic songs. It might grow for me but this is one of her masterpiece. Congrats Taylor!

    For me it was like listening Taylor return to the roots of her early career but totally renewed, bringing a sound with aspects of country music and an alternative style with softly pop footprints, highlighting the feeling of what has been seen but never seen.     My favorite part about a Taylor has always been her way with lyrics and her ability to tell personal, relatable, and artful stories. This album truly lets that side of her shine. No bombastic pop production to district from her way with words. No corny “fun” catchy song to boogie to (even if I found many of those enjoyable).     These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
