    This album shows Taylor branching out into another new genre once again, but still keeping hints of country and pop scattered throughout. The lyrics are honestly poetic and her creativity appears heightened by writing about both real and fictitious stories, that any average person can still relate to.

    i’ve listened fully to the entire album, and it’s not horrible. but i was expecting more i guess. this definitely isn’t her best album, but is ok. my favourite tracks are probably epiphany and betty, because of how they sound and just lyrics behind it. i do recommend this album. but i would have to rate it between 6 or 7. i do really enjoy the alternative part. but i was hoping more of ai’ve listened fully to the entire album, and it’s not horrible. but i was expecting more i guess. this definitely isn’t her best album, but is ok. my favourite tracks are probably epiphany and betty, because of how they sound and just lyrics behind it. i do recommend this album. but i would have to rate it between 6 or 7. i do really enjoy the alternative part. but i was hoping more of a getaway car, delicate, or cruel summer type of song. a song that’s slow and calming but also has a lot of belts. those are probably taylor’s best tracks ever! songs that are slow and have a lot of belts. overall it was an OK album. … Expand

    La producción se sintió profundo, mágico, entrañable.

    This is an evocative album. There are not too many beats, but Taylor's nearly perfect narrative ability and beautiful voice can make you immerse in it and enjoy it. This is a very high-quality album, and the fact that Taylor wrote the album during the quarantine period adds points to this album.

It shows maturity in Taylor's lyrics and sound but at the same time it takes you back to a younger self, reliving some of her experience in the past but from an adult woman perspective. It's a very melancholic album about several topics, This is just so well done.
    She also goes a little more alternative, but without leaving her country or pop sounds, she (and the producers) mixed that so well. Really an album to just listen without doing anything else.    … Expand

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
