More introspective and contemplative than his previous two multi-platinum albums, Gold Rush Kid finds Ezra becoming a man for all seasons.

At the heart of Ezra’s mainstream pop appeal is a sense of joy that infuses his music with radiant positivity. In such troubled times, Ezra’s escapism is pure gold.

Ezra’s third album delivers precisely the kind of easygoing, family-friendly happiness we’ve come to expect.

George Ezra knows his strengths, he knows his audience, and he’s sticking to it come hell or high water. The result is still yet another charming record that’s hard not to love.

I love everything about this album especially the instrumental part. The mix of orchestral style string quartet sounds to the more upbeat guitar zound, everything is done to perfection that give more flavours and colours to the songs. It's summer so some of the more laidback, chill and happy songs like the 'Green Green Grass' fits the mood perfectly. Honestly after 2 years of summer all we need is upbeat music and music that brings comfort to our heart. =) Full Review »
