The production on Guns is most appealing when he relents and allows for more free-flowing instrumentals.

It's easily his best, most enjoyable work.

The artist turns his lens inward on the back half of Guns, resulting in some of his ferocious music yet.

While this is an album with no shortage of ambition, and one that will certainly make demands on its listeners, their patience will certainly be rewarded by the multitudes that Quelle brings forth on Guns.

Quelle Chris is one of hip-hop's hidden gems. He raps like no one else I've ever heard of. His beats seem wacked out, but still groovy andQuelle Chris is one of hip-hop's hidden gems. He raps like no one else I've ever heard of. His beats seem wacked out, but still groovy and catchy. Conceptually, Chris knocks it out the park on this album with his social commentary and themes of violence, race, and inequality. He also isn't afraid to drop some hilarious lines here and there and use elements like irony to convey his message. My favorite tracks are It's the Law (Farewell Goodbye Addio, Uncle Tom), Obamacare, Mind Ya Business, Wild Minks, and Box of Wheaties. Expand
