    At this point all know BTS name, we all know how their infamous fanbase "Army" has worked to put them in the place they are today as one of the most famous and influential pop artist of our generation. Their fanbase is both loved and hated but, what drives them to put their all to boost this group to the heights they are today? Is just their charms and handsomeness enough for that? Or isAt this point all know BTS name, we all know how their infamous fanbase "Army" has worked to put them in the place they are today as one of the most famous and influential pop artist of our generation. Their fanbase is both loved and hated but, what drives them to put their all to boost this group to the heights they are today? Is just their charms and handsomeness enough for that? Or is really a matter of talent and good music? Looking at their impressive antology album Proof and the members solo endeavours I came to a conclusion: is a mix of all above. Previously J-Hope presented his Hope World mixtape, a collection of songs where he showed his colorful and optimistic persona. But everyone has multiple self in oneself. In Jack in the Box J-Hope shows us a more dark, introspective and complex self portrait. He explores in a very effective way a interesting take on the fame he and his band mates have achieved, how the glamour of that fame is nothing compared with the will of being content with his art quality. He also asks himself if everything he has achieved would be taken away, he could keep his optimistic thinking? What make people evil or good, the enviroment? The oportunities? Those kind of questions you may not expect from a boy band member (a conventional one, we have to agree BTS is everything but conventional), all accompanied with guitar riffs, some gutural vocals (made me think about the old days of nu metal), classic hip hop samples and his more than proven rapping habilities.     Love this album! I love the story it tells and the production. J-hope is a wonderful song writer and producer and this album really shows that. I recommend listening to it from start to finish — I promise there isn't a song that you'll want to skip and you will fall in love with the storytelling aspect! Fantastic, J-hope!

    I was absolutely blown away by JitB when it was released and it’s an album I can’t stop going back to, end to end! It was such a powerful punch of pure rapline genius, it’s an incredible follow up to Hope World and shows so many different aspects of Hoseok. The documentary that followed showed us what most ARMY already knew, that Hobi wanted to craft it with his own two hands and that heI was absolutely blown away by JitB when it was released and it’s an album I can’t stop going back to, end to end! It was such a powerful punch of pure rapline genius, it’s an incredible follow up to Hope World and shows so many different aspects of Hoseok. The documentary that followed showed us what most ARMY already knew, that Hobi wanted to craft it with his own two hands and that he had direct decision making in every aspect of the album being written, produced, and launched. He was our first runner for solo efforts that weren’t collabs and wow did he make an impression. The songs are powerful and the lyrics are amazing, there are so many layers, moods and emotions. Hearing Hoseok channel his drive and pride, his desire to succeed and his need to keep improving, and the meaning of HOPE in a world full of chaos and frustration.     Jack in the box, is a perfect album, where hoseok wanted to show another side of himself and his opinion on different subjects. And for those who saw the documentary, you know how hard hoseok worked, he put a lot of effort into this album. we had good lyrics, impactful beats, IMPECCABLE mvs and he put his all into every detail, he deserves all this recognition.

    I loved this album so much. It went against everything i was expecting and was a new sound for him but he did it so well! My only complaint would be it was too short. I can not wait to see what he does for his next album, he's a very exciting artist that keeps surprising me!

    JHope desnuda sus sentimientos en este álbum, su encuentro y confrontación con sus propias sombras y las críticas qué ha tenido que recibir en su carrera como artista, pero, al mismo tiempo genera un mensaje de esperanza y positivismo para si mismo y para quienes tenemos el placer de escuchar esta joyita. ☀️

    One of the most creative outputs from an outstanding performer! Jhope has, time and again, successfully retained our attention to his sincere messages and vision of himself and this album does exactly that. Hats off to his talent and skills!

    There’s an excellent three track run from “What if…,” an energetic song that samples Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” into mid-tempo standout “Safety Zone” before a touch of Hope World familiarity returns in the optimistic “Future.”
