    Kennedy can indeed wail, but he's a gleaming simulacrum. And this plasticity makes him too smooth against Slash's authentic grit.

    It never quite feels as reckless as you want it to. The car’s being driven more carefully, which might be good for the driver, but it’s less exciting for we passengers.

    Kennedy and the Conspirators have made three previous records with him, so it feels like a band, but there’s something about it that lacks the bite of the music he’s made with GN’R. A lot of it has to do with the lyrics.

    it is very well crafted, but somehow it lacks the attraction it needs. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators are doing a great job but after ait is very well crafted, but somehow it lacks the attraction it needs. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators are doing a great job but after a while you get tired of Kennedy's (Strong and Beautiful) voice. Slash has been very careful and brilliant but you can't just stop comparing it to the late 80s and early 90s GnR and get a bit disappointed.… Full Review »
