With their frantic live performances and a solid set of tunes behind them, the sunbaked stoners are on to a winner with this ten-track wonder.

Los Niños Sin Miedo is a richly enjoyable exploration of the weird and wonderful, and a big two fingers up to all those who ever doubted them.

A racket in the best possible way. [Sep 2016, p.108]

Capturing the sound of a fearsome live reputation on record can be daunting for band making their debut record, but here the Madrid trio sound truly fearless.

Parrots invoke a woozy, enthralling chaos that's imbued with a golden, sun-blushed charm. [Sep 2016, p.99]

The Parrots supply their best tunes when they are having a good time, exactly why they act best to soundtrack the fun times under the sweltering summer sun. For The Parrots, all of the fun they have is just in a day’s work.

Occasionally, the record points towards something darker, like the Cramps-esque "Jame Gumb," named after the villain of The Silence of the Lambs. But, generally, it's a late-night party, both in Spanish or moments of enthusiastically mangled English. [Aug-Sep 2016, p.74]

It does have some darker moments, but this is a record that is fun, invigorating and ultimately very catchy.

The whole album is pretty good, sometimes even really good. The Parrots may not be doing anything new or even close to it, but they give the corpse of garage rock a good kicking and that's a pretty cool.

A record that provides few surprises but at least captures the feral energy of their live shows. [Sep 2016, p.78]
