With their frantic live performances and a solid set of tunes behind them, the sunbaked stoners are on to a winner with this ten-track wonder.

A racket in the best possible way. [Sep 2016, p.108]

Los Niños Sin Miedo is a richly enjoyable exploration of the weird and wonderful, and a big two fingers up to all those who ever doubted them.

The whole album is pretty good, sometimes even really good. The Parrots may not be doing anything new or even close to it, but they give the corpse of garage rock a good kicking and that's a pretty cool.

Occasionally, the record points towards something darker, like the Cramps-esque "Jame Gumb," named after the villain of The Silence of the Lambs. But, generally, it's a late-night party, both in Spanish or moments of enthusiastically mangled English. [Aug-Sep 2016, p.74]

It does have some darker moments, but this is a record that is fun, invigorating and ultimately very catchy.

The end result is something that feels retrograde and entirely inessential, but enjoyable enough on its own terms.
