    Lost Worker Bee makes for a lovely epilogue to this period of the band's existence, incorporating the best of their qualities while also diving into previously unexplored musical landscapes.

    Themed and crafted from the streets of Manchester, this EP is a wonderful reminder that not only do Elbow still remember them, the blood to their lovelorn souls still flows from that deep well, no matter how high the vine they now have to climb from there.

    On balance, Lost Worker Bee simply does not do enough to distinguish itself from the rest of Elbow’s oeuvre, and therein lies its greatest failing.
